NOW ALL SOLD. I’ve recently sold my CSR and have for sale a pair of unused rear tyres.They were bought from CC a couple of years ago and have been stored since.They have never been on a rim. They are 245/40R15 and date stamped 3014. I’ll take £220 for the pair, buyer to collect from TS15 9RW (Yarm, Cleveland) or arrange collection. Previously advertised front 195's are now sold. To confirm, the fronts are 195/45R15 and are stamped 1114 (which I gather indicates the date of manufacture.)The rears are 245/40R15 and stamped 3014. Hi, I wondered if any CSR owners who have removed the cat and fitted a bypass pipe could comment on any differences found as a result. Someone mentioned to me that the bypass pipe actually helped to reduce the footwell temperature in the CSR's. I wondered if this was fact or fiction. Also any difference found in performance, noise or smooth running. Any informed comment would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Alan

Steve, 'i did find a few road that challenged the bar under the gearbox though' I know what you mean. I bottomed mine out regularly on my previous CSR, especially on the Helmsley TT road that Ged mentioned. On my current 2012 CSR, I notice Caterham came up with a 'fix' for that, they removed the bar. I don't know if they added anything to compensate or just removed it. Cheers

Thanks for the input so far. It always popped and banged but it seems to do it a lot more now. Performance seems just the same but it is noisy even when I lift off for more than a few seconds. Alan
