  5. Hi, Have changed to Mega Jolt 3D ignition system on my X-flow Seven and now I want to remove the distributor. Any idea where to buy a Distributor Blanking Plate (or plug)? Regards Jan W. Red/Ali - Live Axle - X-flow
  6. Connecting up the last parts of my MegaJolt project and one question came up: Does the VR-sensor have definite + and – poles? If so, the connector on my sensor (Ford Escort) has one blue/yellow and one blue/green wire, which one is which? Red/Ali - Live Axle - X-flow
  7. Hi. Got the adaptor from the machine shop today. 😬 The adaptor centres inside the hole in the crank (not on the bolt) and is bolted to the trigger wheel. Trigger wheel, adaptor and crank pulley is then fastened to the crank with a longer than normal bolt. This way I can first locate the crank pulley (by bending the chassis tube) then put the trigger wheel/adaptor on and turn these to the wanted position before tightening the crank bolt. Pictures: here Next step wil be finding the optimal sensor position. Jan. Red/Ali - Live Axle - X-flow
  8. Hi! I got the Ford wheel at my local dealer (£20), but it is not a straight forward fit. It has a 32 mm hole in the middel and that is no way near the 1/2 inch bolt. I then bought Omex wheel from Burton, this one has 20 mm hole. I have not decided which one to use, but either way, I will have to get someone to make an adaptor to center the wheel. I will then bolt the wheel to the crank pulley. Pictures here Jan
  9. Oops, thanks for correcting me, my memory is playing tricks on me. Of course the studs are mounted on the rear hubs. (never happened before. . . . ) Planning for an axle change then. Jan Red/Ali - Live Axle - X-flow
  10. I am about to buy new wheels for my -84 Live Axle Seven (Ital). I will at some point change to Ford rear axle. In order not to have to change wheels again, is it possible to buy brake drums for the Ital axle with Ford stud pattern (4 ¼” /108 mm)? Jan. 12. Went to the local Ford dealer today, but the part numbers referred to made no sense to them. Does anybody know what car this wheel is from? Jan

  14. My MegaJolt project is almost complete, just lacking the right map (preferably MegaJolt, but others will do) for my +155bhp Xflow engine with specs as follows: - 1700 cc - Forged pistons - Gas flowed head - Big valves - High comp. - 244 cam - 45 mm Webers Jan Red/Ali - Live Axle - X-flow
