  1. Just cacked my sump on my r500 is it alloy or mag? Do dartford offer a collection service as its sitting over in Guilford. Any one know if Caterham will weld it or is it new one and how much do they cost?

  8. Can anyone tell me where I can get a mount to attach my camcorder to the rollcage and roughly how much. Does anyone have any experience or any recommendations for which products will help with the effects of vibrations? Any help appreciated
  9. it will mainly be a road car with some track days next year, so doesnt sound much point. Yes wanted to know if I was missing much. I feel little bit dissapointed with the power factor. I had one on order when they first came out then had to cancel due to business reason sold my 40th anniversary car which was excellent biggest mistake I ever made. Turned out that business did well and bought a 911 turbo last of the air cooled which had been upgraded a bit 34k was the price but boy did it cost me now in 911virgin for sale or return at 20k which is a complete steal for some one if they buy it off me privately.Great car but missed the Caterham experience. I think that the problem is when I originally test drove the r500 back in 2000 it had no screen which I am sure adds to the thrill in a big way plus now had the experience of driving the 911 which has a bit of a kick with some high running cost to go with it. So seeing this r500 at 19k was too hard to resist. Caterham are cheap cars new or second hand compared to alot of other performance cars and make you smile more. Looking forward to summer and fitting the aero *smile* *smile* *smile*
  10. yep that sounds about right, so minster is my only option? and am I going to see much of a difference by letting the revs go up that extra bit and what are minster going to charge me? thanks for your input by the way
  11. Recently bought this car. Previous owner had this done to make it last a bit longer I guess. I hope to see a bit more bang for my buck. So who is good to change the ECU. Home for me is berkshire.
  12. how do you change the rev limiter on a r500? Its set at 8000 at the moment
  13. Picked up a set of these leather covers yesterday they are excellent and a really quality bit of kit. Also got some foam from them to ram down behind the seats as this is where the cold air mainly comes from, again a huge difference. Even started thinking about getting the areoscreen fitted, maybe wait a while for that one!!
