    Colour code

How do I find out the colour code for my 7? It's a 2007 50th Anniversary Edition in Metallic Black. I have a new OSF cycle wing in GRP black that will need painting to match the rest of the car. The previous one was damaged by a kamikaze pheasant. Alan

    Battery Life?

Thanks, guys. From what you say, I should qualify that by saying at lease five years old (my ownership). Any suggestion from where I get one from? I'm in Norfolk and Kings Lynn seems like the nearest Banner dealer. Caterham Cars only do Dry Charge (just add acid) for delivery or Wet Charge, collection from Dartford. Alan

    Battery Life?

I have a 1.6 Sigma 125 with a Banner 12V/30AH battery. This slumbers happily with a Banner Trickle Charger and always starts no problems. Today with the sun shinning there was no enough power to engage the starter motor. After some jigging about (another story) it started first time. The question is, is 9 years a suitable life expectancy for a battery or have I missed something? Alan
  6. Spotted traveling east on High Green, Brooke 2 o'clock this afternoon. Yellow with a green stripe. Was that you Dave? You could have given me a lift into Norwich, as it was I had to use the loser cruiser. Lucky I have a Bus Pass. Alan

Or is it Minilite or Minator? Anyway I am after a 14" wheel to replace one I damaged a few weeks ago on a greasy roundabout. New or as new condition required. Alan

    Minilight

or is it Minilite or Minator? I've damaged one 14" alloy and need a replacement. Caterham have Minator wheel (plus tyre) as "SALE" item but out of stock. Nothing new there then. My local garage tell me mine was made by KN who are now out of business. Any suggestions? Regards Alan

  18. My Sigma has been doing that intermittently. At the last service Caterham said a replacement starter motor is needed. The K-click article in July Lowflying has me thinking though. Alan
  19. I've had two plastic radiators, both leaked when cold. When the engine was warm it sealed and stopped. Aluminium radiator replacement is the answer. No leaks now. Alan 50th Anniversary Sigma SV.

    Half Hood

Yes you're right Mike. You also solved my other dilemma, does the single washer go under or over? So much easier in daylight as well. Cheers Alan. It was CC half hood.

    Half Hood

I just bought a half hood for a series 5. The 13mm bolt located by the roll bar for the side straps has two washers on each. With the straps in place the the bolts are just high enough to snag the hoops for the full hood and at the back the hoops sit just a tad too high. Question is do those bolts have another function or are they just there waiting for the inevitable purpose? Can you get by with one or no washers on the bolts? Alan

    Wind deflector

The soft bits one only fits between the headrests. I was thinking the rollbar covers a bigger area and that would that be more effective. What did you use for the mesh on the one you made? Was that attached to the rollbar by Velcro? Regards Alan
