    MIRA

Sorry if this has been asked before, but just filing out form for MIRA entry and realised (from online regs) that it is a non spectator event, but "mechanics" can get passes. This will be my first sprint and so was hoping to bring wife along - does anyone know if it is possible to swing the mechanic argument and if so how? Thanks Chris
  11. yep - I work at PwC - 3rd floor definitley not powerful or important enough to get a parking space so have never brought car (in as yet). I have a black 1.6K roadsport. do you go to any of the area meets? I have not as yet but am planning to in the future.

  13. Hi both Thanks - this is great. Have to be honest, I never understood why some bars had the x and some just had the single diagonal. The petty strut does have the FIA markings. The one I have got has nothing in the main loop so is clearly the wrong bar. Oh well, on the phone to them in the morning. Thanks for all your help! Chris
  14. Hi all - hoping someone can tell me I have not been really daft here. Going to be doing first ever trackdays next year and thinking about some sprinting, so first thing to do was to replace standard bar with FIA bar (which I know isn't really FIA unless you fit the petty strut). Ordered what I thought was the correct thing from Caterham midlands and was actually told that the best thing was a kit that had the roll bar, petty strut, new boot cover and all the fixings. So of we went to collect it yesterday. On checking it properly home, everything seems fine (i.e. all the bits are there) but I am not sure it is the correct roll bar. I was expecting the FIA bar to have a an extra diagonal bar (over the standad bar I already have fitted) that runs the with of the car. However, the one in the box does not. It is all Caged manufactured. Have I got it wrong? The only thing I an think is that the box has the wrong bar in it. Any help appreciated. Chris
  15. fantastic thanks, they have one and I can get it tomorrow! Cheers again.
