  1. This is one of the very best SLR 400s out there and at such an attractive price, basically with a trailer and private plate thrown in. This is a car which you wake up in the early hours of a spring morning knowing your going to enjoy the day, you leave home at dawn then return at dusk with a facial grin which takes days to wain and then fully understand what a fantastic well balanced package the SLR 400 really is.

And as Mankee states the car is in Haverhill (Suffolk) and has been maintained be Dave Ketteridge who took John Gladman to such great success in the R400 championships for several years. The car needs nothing only enjoying.

  2. Quaife QBE89G Sequential 7 speed gearbox brand new so unused, Ultra close ratio 2.750, 2.214, 1.800, 1.4711,238, 1.043, 0.920 with a drop gear ratio of 1.045.1

Weight 33kg so lighter than the 60g, We have run one of these in our R400 race car for the past three years with fantastic results.

Direct replacement for a Type 9 same bolt pattern prop shaft length etc, Can be set up with pneumatics for paddle shift etc, Ideal for a K series sprint car, Comes with sensor for gear position and oil temp etc, Also available is a mount for a hydraulic release bearing.

New these are £5,380 + vat, this is available at £5000 and no vat so a saving of £1456 mail gerry@2gbracing.com for photos ect

  3. Just asking if anyone can confirm the thread on the oil temp sensor used on the bell housing oil tank on a R400 it has a notch around the hex it has the Stack sensor code of ST 762, A quick goggle gives M or NPT so just asking does the notch on the hex states M fine ?
  4. McCulloch MAC 335 chainsaw, 350mm bar, The chain has been professionally sharpened and is as new, The overall condition of the saw is as new with only garden home use, Happy to do a video of saw and starting sequence and place on a courier at cost £65

  5. Hi Antonio having seen your posting i thought i would reply, Yes Bruce at Arch Motors has done several S3 chassis with an extra diff mount which is box section brazed to the same size box section at the rear of floor pan and are approximatly half way between centre line of chassis and side of the car and come up at a slight angle to a standard metalastic bush which goes through the rear lowest sierra diff mounting. A very well triangulated extra mount. Unfortunatly you can not use an over chassis anti roll bar only an underslung roll bar will fit

    Regards

    Gerry

Could be a winter project. Would post the link if i knew how

  7. Just looked on a box of bolts supplied from Mike for his MB wheels and sealing silicone = Hi Modulus Dow Corning 785, Black cap heads, with plain stainless washer and stainless nylocks torqued to 18Nm / 13 ft lbs, Really much easier if you have an extra hand to hold the cap heads from turning
