Just make sure it is done correctly, SBD Steve Broughton Developments (Surrey) do this almost weekly on the engines that they build for their customers, you might get talked into a few other bits and bobs though

This is one of the very best SLR 400s out there and at such an attractive price, basically with a trailer and private plate thrown in. Just asking if anyone can confirm the thread on the oil temp sensor used on the bell housing oil tank on a R400 it has a notch around the hex it has the Stack sensor code of ST 762, A quick goggle gives M or NPT so just asking does the notch on the hex states M fine ?

Hi Antonio having seen your posting i thought i would reply, Yes Bruce at Arch Motors has done several S3 chassis with an extra diff mount which is box section brazed to the same size box section at the rear of floor pan and are approximatly half way between centre line of chassis and side of the car and come up at a slight angle to a standard metalastic bush which goes through the rear lowest sierra diff mounting. A very well triangulated extra mount. Unfortunatly you can not use an over chassis anti roll bar only an underslung roll bar will fit

Hi Simon just to let you know that the chassis I have for sale has the dropped mounts with A frame to fit ( slightly twisted though) would twist straight with a decent vice though

Just looked on a box of bolts supplied from Mike for his MB wheels and sealing silicone = Hi Modulus Dow Corning 785, Black cap heads, with plain stainless washer and stainless nylocks torqued to 18Nm / 13 ft lbs, Really much easier if you have an extra hand to hold the cap heads from turning
