Simon, sent an email to kev@7tips.co.uk on 9th, no reply as yet?
Tony,
I have measured the rear track and the tyre footprint and it is about 1.7 metres wide, although the tyre buldge probably makes it about 1.72, so I guess it probably wont fit?

cheers Simon

you have read my mind - I am going to go down the BJ clubman single axle 6ft 1 wide route which will save the hassle of wheel swapping and it should also be a light easily movable trailer... cheers

Mike
Spoken to BJ who said the CSR will not fit unfortunately.
Thanks anyway
Dean
-
Mike,
yes
However not sure if it wil fit - BJ website says dimensions of this trailer are 11' (3.3M) X 5'5 (1.65M)
CSR 3300 long, 1685 wide according to owners manual?

Nigel,
That will have been me freezing my nuts off in pursuit of winter motoring thrills!
Reg almost there G7.. must be worth something in the Gulf...
Guess you are based not far away from Solihull I think I saw one of your You Tube vids where you were out in Eartswood I think, at least thats what I recognised - let me know if your up for some local trips out (not exceeding her majesty's speed limits for one moment of course!) and any trackday outings are always welcomed...
Cheers

Thanks for that.
What are the options available for the box itself ?
Will the R500 caterham/quaife fit? / Are there other manufacturers who make one that would fit as an alternative?
Given the costs, are there ever second hand sequential boxes about or are they like rocking horse sh~*?
Cheers

Hi,
My penny's worth....
I had an open diff 3.38 on my csr260 - fine on road, poor on track
Changed to a Titan - fantastic on a dry track (not so good in the wet) - somewhat "lively" on the road, particularly in the wet.
So I woull say (a) leave the open diff but if you really want an LSD (b) not a Titan!
Cheers

thanks for that, but it's sat at CML awaiing the arrival of the Titan LSD, diff rebuild and chassis tube repair at Arch - Ugh!
not quite what I wanted within the first month of ownership - hey ho!

Both sides required.

Thanks for that,
Guess I'll stick with my 3.38!

I'd only had the car 4 weeks, first track day at Oulton Park, 4th session and Snap!
No idea if it had had the modification - was there a recall on the older cars to have the modification carried out?
It is at caterham so am awaiting their report.
cheers

I am having to replace the rear diff following a broken diff case - at the same time should I consider changing from a 3.38 ratio to a 3.62?
The car will be predominantly used for track days although I would still like to use it on the road on the odd occasion the sun shines!
Many thanks,
Dean

Hi,
I am after a CSR260 diff case or complete diff (LSD or open) as I have suffered the diff support bracket failure.
Cheers
