  1. 2002 (52) Honda Jazz 1.4DSi, Mint Opal Metallic (Pale green), MOT until August (no advisories last time), tax until 06/10. Good Points 51,500 miles Service History (Honda for the first few, then independant anually) Unmarked paintwork on panels Unmarked interior Amazing little car, very low running costs. Clean and reliable 45+ MPG HPI clear Bad Points Due to a slight noise at high revs in first gear (? - It's a Honda Jazz!) and occasionally when idling, Honda wrote on the receipt at a service a couple of years ago that a new "clutch release bearing" was required at a cost of £530 fitted (that's for a complete clutch assembly installed by them), we've never taken them up on the offer and the car still runs ok and is used daily (20,000 since they said we needed it!). Happy for a mechanic to look at it for a second opinion, I've factored in that someone might want this doing in the future in to the price. A couple of light scuffs on the colour coded bumpers (not on the main panels) For the perfectionist, it could do with some new wheel trims - £57 each from Honda for originals. Priced accordingly - £2100, piccies available on request. This is a great car that just goes and goes with very low running costs, we're selling to get a larger car. We were offered £2200 last week by Renault for it, but we don't want a Renault... David
  2. Jez - haven't you learnt that the projected figure never quite relates to the actual figure yet??? I'm popping up to Silverstone in a few weeks to see you all exchange wings, see you there mate. David
  3. Now reduced to £14,500 ono for club members. For those with a keen eye, that's more than £2,500 cheaper than the exact same thing for sale by Caterham Midlands... 😬
  4. Cheers Jez. Yep - I'll be along to a few races this year, and sorry - no spare wheels...although I do have a spare set of CR322's 😬 Thanks to those who have PM'd me about the car, currently still for sale. BTTT *arrowup* 😬 David

  6. Same problem for me, forgot/too lazy to attatch the conditioner - so now the banner unit won't take any charge and the whole thing is flat as a pancake. What's the best way to fit the poweramp unit in to the Sigma bulkhead based battery tray, it's a lot narrower than the one I'll be taking out. Can they go on their side, or should I put it upright and use the existing clamp with a space all the way around it? Sorry for the stupid question! David
  7. Now provisionally sold to L7 FST. RoyH holds 2nd dibs (sounds like he's convinced his wife that access to a freezer is over rated) Cheers, David
  8. 2nd dibs if RoyH falls through goes to Stephen Deucher, thanks for your mail Stephen. David
  9. Still considering, but need the space in the meantime. Well done on winning your race, I watched your video earlier - thought you'd blown it after going on the grass after Gerrards but you did well to get back on their tails. I came 14th, and was pleased my car was in one piece after seeing some of the others!
  10. He had that conversation in the time it took me to go out and measure it! Shaun, you have mail in about 2 minutes. David
  11. Hi Shaun, Just popped out and measured. Max width - 203cm (This is taken from the outter edge of the mudguards, there are also two side lights on the end of rubber outriggers but these are floppy and designed to fold in) Max length - 400cm (This is taken with the tow pole upright and saves approx 62cm over a standard trailer) I have a short garage, hence why I needed the trailer type in the first place - I still have a workbench at the end and a bike. Cheers, David
  12. For Sale Brian James Minnow Max Trailer - with rare folding tow pole. Bought used this year's Caterham Academy, the trailer is appoximately 2-3 years old and has the following equipment. High Grip integral ramps Wheel chocks (pair) Centre decking and storage Heavy duty jockey wheel Single gear winch Folding tow pole High level tyre rack Cost new would be £2875 + VAT Full details here. Perfect for track days and racing (transport to and from, I don't race the trailer!), with the added bonus of still being able to fit a workbench in your garage due to the space saved by the folding tow pole. I store the car on the trailer in the garage and use the car reguarly. Good condition, dry stored and used reguarly this year - a great practical trailer. I'm happy to deliver if the buyer is a sensible distance from St Albans, otherwise it will need to be picked up. £1500 - using the well established "dibs" process. Thanks, David
