  1. All sorted. with the 7 as far forward as posible and the hitch at the correct hight i get 52Kg. thanks for all your help David
  2. I will retry to measure the weight when I get home. I think the problem is that the my pease of wood is to long and meens that the hitch is to high. just been to a caravan shop and the ones they sell are about 40 cm high. Thanks for your help David
  3. Andy I have tried to measure it and went of the scales 150kg+ so must be doing something wrong. I have put a bit of wood under the hitch, then lifted the jockey wheel.place scales under wheel and lifted the hitch of the supporting bit of wood. What am I doing wrong? David
  4. What the best way of measering the nose weight? does the trailer need to be attached to the car? Does anyone know what the tipical nose weight is for a k-series? thanks David

  9. A few years ago this was discussed on scoobynet (spelling) and the gentral felling was that it does degrade over time. Peaple said they could tell the diffrence if it had been left. 2 weeks all subjective. the best way round this problem is to drive your 7 every day.

  12. robmar uses ACB10 on track/ sprints in the dry and CR500 in the wet/road. hopefully he will be along later and give you his veiw. hope this helps David
  13. Hi Jeff good to see you at Llandow. You may have noted that my SL has a comp exhaust, and is also a 2001 car. For the mot I will put back the origanal exhaust as this is the cheepest option. Raceline do a silancer with a cat as a direct replacement for the comp silancer its about £400. If teh SL does not have the standerd cat exhaust when you get it either buy a second hand exhaust or you can borrow mine if the MOTs are not at the sametime. Keep well David

  17. may have a change of plan. If I can get a wheel rack then will not be able to use the hood if raining, so might as well get a full aero instead. David
  18. yes i have a heated screen. agree on the fulse alarms when using the horn David
  19. My B2 is placed between the 2 poppers with velcro. the GPS goes under on the dash with velcro, under the touno cover. The lasser thing goes on the screen. It works well and have had it for about 6 months. hope this helps David
