  1. I did read them, as I always do. Ben said he had seen it somewhere and there was a £250 fine for not attending. Also as he is a new driver they sent him a guild on the 2nd courses. the last time i was there 2007 the 2 course was Rob G, going onto the motorcross section.

  2. I think I the real world there is not too much difference. Both do the job in a slightly different way. As will all things Caterham it often comes down to you. if the seven is only a yr old and your thinking warranty the CC kit is for you.

resale ask which would you buy? Some will not mind others will not.

why has there been no comments on Jenvey's well likely due to the fact we all follow the majority as its a safe option.

You know you want the RB is now which ones and does a name mean something?

    good luck

  3. I think I may have read this wrong

on start up you get 80 degrees  but after 20 mins if you get stuck in traffic the temp goes up into the 90+ mark

    This all sounds normal.

WT on the ECU may not be the same as on the Gauge ( When hot mine are different by 10 degrees.) ECU higher than gauge.

you turn the engine off when it gets in the 90 + temp but the fan will not start till 92 degrees is reached.

My K in traffic would always go up so fitted over ride switch.

    To me all sounds normal.

getting the remote pipe as in an earlier post may give you confidence all is well as it can be put out of the way of the exhaust.

  4. I will try to answer your questions

    1. Original rad kept water temp in the 80's and oil temp was similar iirc

With a sigma rad temp dropped to water 70ish oil in the mid 60s

New k series rad from coolexperts

There have been no other changes.

Thermalstat is what ever has been in for 18 years. No idea of the temp.

  5. Change my Rad and now have lower water temp (70 degrees) and oil temp (60 degrees)

For me its running too cool. what options do i have?

I could blank off some of the noise cone , reducing flow and other thought?

  6. In the process of changing from a SLR cage to a roadsport cage and need to think about mirrors.

old set up was SPA convex central mirror with flat spa formula side mirrors.

As the seven will have a windscreen not sure if I can still use the spa central mirror as not any room between screen and cage.

The side mirrors are Ok but will be using doors. mounting SPA mirrors on doors will make adjustment very difficult.

having looking at the options still not sure the best way forward.

I would like a central mirror that is not on the screen so can have it for running an aeroscreen.

    thought please

    David

  7. So roll bar and petty strut is a no go as this is a 5 point connection not 6.

I also see the new track day roll cage has not sticker so guess although 6 point is a no go.

this only leaves roadsport/acadamy cage ot SLR cage.
