What is "demonstrator Pink" anyway, didn't realise that you had to be a specific colour to protest these days!!

I have just replaced the plugs in my supersport 1.6k with a set of NGK BCPR7ES, they seem to be working fine, but i since read a thread that indicates that the recommended plugs are the rover standard issue jobs that I just replaced, as I said , the engines running fine, but am I likely to do damage here?? *confused*

Rick, Check SJL post on "Brake pad types" thread, Important to make sure that your brakes are bled correctly, took me three or four goes to get anywhere near right, especially on the rear calipers, where I had to jack the car up at the rear to get the air out of.( tends to get trapped in pockets there) Best bet is to pressure bleed them if possible, then revert to looking at pedal leverage and different pads (see SJL) if you're still not happy.

Seems exactly like mine, nothing to worry about at all, I have exactly the same set up and same readings, 5000 miles and no problems so far

I had the same problem, If the fuel pump doesn't prime and you've checked the inertia switch, look at the wiring to the fuel pump, in my case Caterham Midlands had connected the fuel pump power supply to the rear hazard light when reconnecting the light after spraying the car... I discvered this when checking the lights ( having given up on the engine) and found that the fuel pump primed when the rear hazard light was switched on
A bit off the wall I admit , but worth mentioning
