  1. Thanks for that !

In fact I picked up the TV from one of their outlets in Derby, and have used the tv for eight hours, which can be tracked by the internal gubbins if they can be bothered, so a little bit diferent from examining them in the shop. so I guess their argument would be that the goods are no longer new... just keen to move on to a smaller set now ☹️

  2. I acquired one of these from Empire Direct on Saturday, it’s a fantastic piece of equipment and I am very impressed with the picture quality and overall performance, this set comes out very well in all consumer reviews. I have spent a considerable amount of time researching it to make sure I got the right one!

Unfortunately the element I didn’t include in my calculations was that SWMBO doesn’t want a screen that big and can we please send it back!

Empire direct are fine with that, but want to charge me 15% of the purchase price to swop as I have opened the packaging.

I thought that there may be someone out there who might be interested, The TV has been on for about eight hours and has not had the postcode or any of the guarantee documents registered yet.

The TV comes with a full five year guarantee from Panasonic (As I ordered it before 31 December)

I would be happy to cut my losses and part with it for £470.

Clearly it’s a big package, so would be suitable for pick up only. I live in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

For more info please see this link here

but please bear in mind this one comes with a 5 year Panasonic Warranty.

Or for a full specification see the Panasonic site here

Please Blatmail me if you need more info, I will need to return the TV to ED by Friday if there is no interest.

  4. Joint Blat between the South Staffs L7C and the Cobra replica owners club, quick tour of the peaks and back to Sudbury for lunch...I was in the BRG yellow with Aeroscreen, busy dodging the grit from those very large Cobra rear tyres 😬 😬

one Cobra lost a throttle cable, that was what you saw I think, soon fixed it again though!

  7. I've done the usual trick of meddling with something thats working fine, but I thought could be improved...and now its fubarred! *mad*

I tried replacing the poppers on either side of the rear boot cover to provide a more secure fixing for my half hood, now the holes are too big even for a 4mm *10mm rivet, any ideas as to what I can do.... *confused* *confused*
