  1. I have been looking for a Caterham brake master cylinder with dual circuit brake lines (One for the front and one for the rear) to replace the single circuit Girling brake master cylinder on my 1962 Lotus Super 7. I checked and found out that a Triumph Spitfire brake master cylinder looks to have the same mounting position and bolt position. However, there are two master cylinders that may work. The first one is for a 1967 to 1975 and more expensive than the 1976 to 1980 which appears to be slightly longer. Has anyone have experience with either master cylinder??????? Please advise. Thanks for looking. Craig Straub
  2. I am still looking for the master cylinder. Dual circuit one line for the rear brakes and one for the front brakes. Thanks for looking. Criag
  3. Thanks Elie, but I need to pass. Looking for a master cylinder that only has two brake lines coming out of it.
  4. Has your friend come up with a price yet? Thanks, Craig
  5. Looking for a dual circuit brake master cylinder to put on my Series 2 Super 7. Must be willing to ship to USA and take Paypal. Thanks Craig
  6. What happened is that one of the magnets came out of my crankshaft pulley on my ignition system. I replaced the magnet and the electrics are still good. The problem now is that the engine will not start or run. I do have spark. I can hear the fuel pump turn on and feels like there is pressure in the line but still have to check it. Possible problem - bad fuel pressure regulator. The only problem is I don't know what it is off of. I purchased it when I bought the Jenvey fuel injection system some 13 years ago. I have not tried to spray with starting fluid. Will try that tonight. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Craig In the USA
  7. I am looking for an air filter for my Zetec powered Lotus/Caterham that has twin Jenveys. I have seen where Burton Power handles Pipercross one piece filters I saw where the KK600 will fit the Zetec but I don't know what filter to order. I have been using the dual filter socks by Pipercross. Can anyone assist me in which filter to order? Thanks, Craig

  11. I have a 1995 Caterham long cockpit chassis. I am currently running a wide track front a-arms with Penske shocks. The rear suspension is a 1961 Ford Cortina with Penske shocks and I am running a Watts link for fore and aft movement and a spherical bearing lower a-arm. Questions 1. Does anyone make a rocker conversion or the bits so that I convert my chassis to an inboard suspension? 2. Can or has anyone used a Mummford Link with the Watts Link?
  12. Thanks to RH7, I have added more information. The information is that I am planning to do a couple of track days this year. So which mirrors are better convex or flat since I am planning to attach them to an aeroscreen not a windshield. Thanks, Craig
  13. It looks like I will do at 1-2 track days this year which I need side mirrors. Which mirrors are better? Convex or Flat Thanks, Craig Happy Holidays guys and gals, I am looking for some mirrors for my Caterham/Lotus live axle. I have a plastic green windscreen. I would need a pair of mirrors of the left side and right side and would prefere them to bolt on to the windscreen. I need a center mirror also but don't know what height. I am currently looking at Demon Tweeks Racetech mirrors. Any help would be appreciated. Craig in the SUA Edited by - lotiman on 28 Dec 2012 17:44:39
  14. How much oil should a drysump pan on a Ford Zetec engine hold? It has been suggested that I have too much oil in the oil pan and when cornering I am having oil splash. Thanks, Craig

    Ford Zetec 2.0L

The engine is dry sumped and has Jenvey throttle bodies (Weber type). PCV and valve are are vented to a breather filter that also has the the dry sump tank also vented through it. Thanks. Craig
