    Hi all, I’ve had my first caterham for almost 9 months and noticed some rust forming in a few places most notably a the front suspension area and little or the rear roll bar. I’m not ver experienced in dealing with rust so open to all advice what to do with it before it gets any worse.

  6. I managed to get them fitted, though had to buy some different retainer clips. I bought these which have a different profile to the original ones. https://amzn.eu/d/7zavnjR
  7. Yes I’ve have done that, and have the light surround fitted with the springs. But it won’t fit onto the headlight body as the lip gets stuck on the retaining clips as they now at a different angle because of the thickness of the cafe racer light.
  8. Does any one who has installed the cafe racer LED headlights have any recommendations how to fit the retaining clips to the light surround
  9. I’m trying to fit the 5.75 inch cafe racer with bar drl into a 2014 supersport 1.4
  10. Has anyone got any instructions how to wire the cafe racer headlights in to get the DRL working. Do I cut the red and black cables from the existing bulb then just crimp to the white and yellow cables from the new headlight unit? Photos would be of great help.
  11. Hey all thanks for all the replies and help, I’ve managed to fix the issue now. The problem was the pivot bolt being too tight. Is it common issue for it to self tighten over time?
  12. Hi all this is my first post on the forum, I’m looking for a bit of advice. I was looking forward to taking out my caterham 140 supersport today, and when I started the car it was revving really high. I looked under the hood and traced the accelerator cable to the return spring which seems a bit stiff, so not sure if they need replacing or if there is another issue.
