  2. Hi Many thanks one and all for your responses. I've not posted a question on here for a while and had fogotten just how hepfull you guys are! It looks like the vast majority would recommend SBFS for both the half hood and shower cap. Something for me to follow up next year! Many thanks and Happy Christmas Chris
  3. Hi, I'm thinking of buying a shower cap and half hood in the new year. There seem to be quite a few on the market now including Soft bits and Oxted. Can anybody help with advice on the quality and fit of these makes. What would you buy? Thanks

  5. Hi I have purchased a trackday rollbar from Caged some while ago but on collection they were unable to supply their own stickers to put on it?! On order apparently, ever since! Does anybody by some strange quirk of fate, have any caged stickers they don't want or have'nt used, that I could buy or borrow and scan to get a couple of stickers made? Bit of a long shot this one. Any other ideas welcome! Thanks Chris
  6. Hi Mike many thanks for the reply. I have emailed you :
  7. Another speedo question ( sorry!) Long and sad tale. ☹️ The odometer on my speedo stopped working a while ago. Contacted Caerbont / speedy cables and have got a suitable replacement speedo unit. Looking under the car (2005 roadsport) it looks like I have a gearbox sender. Ok, fine so far. Now - the instructions that came with the speedo say that I can set up the speedo using the reset button to input the calibration number, which is cable turns per mile x number of pulses per sender unit. The question therefore is - how can I find out these figures. The car is running on 13" wheels, 215 section tyres and 3.92 diff. Any help greatly appreciated!
  8. Hi I have mailed you at your sales@ email address. Regards Chris
  9. hi I'll have it please. I will mail you Regards Chris
  10. Still for sale - but price reduced! (They are £140 new) This is an ideal bar to buy if yours is scruffy or if you fancy a change of colour to match the car.
  11. Standard Imperial roll bar from my 2003 roadsport for sale. Very good condition (almost as new) Black. £20 plus postage (£17). now reduced to £20. you couldn't but your own steel mill, make the tube, weld it and powder coat it for that price Chris Edited by - Chris wells on 26 Apr 2012 21:47:35 Edited by - Chris wells on 28 Apr 2012 15:17:27

  13. Ssssh...whisper (Its got some VP SPDs, but I didnt include them in the description as they are quite pricey on their own) Edited by - Chris Wells on 5 Feb 2012 15:12:18
  14. Hi Pat, you've not offended me in the slightest. Indeed many thanks for reminding me of its original value *smile*I certainly wouldnt have spotted your helpfull reply on chit chat. Hang on - I've just looked at Chit Chat - where the topic seems to be regarding the sale of a well known VX powered seven. I think your kind help to correctly describe my Marin has slipped under the radar! Anyway apologies from me as well Edited by - Chris Wells on 5 Feb 2012 15:03:31
