Hope you get it sorted. Once it is Im sure you will love it, they are fantastic when running properly

Thanks Aerobod, what torque are you tightening too?
-
Having read about a member who had lost some mountings on his diff housings because the bolt had come loose, I went to check my own. To my astonishment one bolt was missing completely and the others loose.
Was wondering if anyone else had this issue?

I think general consensus is that the Avons are a step on from the CR500's
I have ZZR and ZZS and the ZZR is really a track tyre but I find the ZZS very good as a all rounder

Given the 620r has carbon interior panels you could ask CC and wait for the inflated price!. At least they would be cut to size though

Is it an in tank pump or external?
-
Looks like my in tank fuel pump has given up the ghost. Engine was running for a minute or two then stopped now wont start ECU on and going from red to green and Relays clicking over but pump not priming (Fuses OK) Ran a 12v supply to the pump directly and doesnt do a thing Anubody know where I can get one from as CC have been put of stock for ages Wll I need to go external and if so has anyone done it and recomend how? Thanks Chris - See more at: http://www.lotus7.club/blogs/fuel-pump#sthash.MKfa5WJA.dpuf

Put Nitrons on mine from billies and have to say difference is amazing, compliant over bumps but composed elsewhere. Best upgrade ive done
-
Im just having my car totally re sprayed by Sutton Coachworks near Cambridge and they are doing my minilites for 30 quid a wheel but they may be because of the re spray?
So far they have been brilliant

VVC engines do have a tendency to loosen their cam pulley bolts
Check them mine did the same thing

I am thinking about selling my Hobie 16
I bought it around 6 years ago for Hobie in Poole and its only been sailed from then on in freshwater ( its approx. 8-9 years old)
Its in very good condition ( couple of lines need replacing but can still be sailed) and includes a righting frame,Launch trailer and road trailer.Tramp is great and includes a boom on the mainsail also
Im looking for £3,500 which is a bit of a bargain in my eyes but let me know if your interested and I can arrange a test sail in the coming weeks.
Best

GT5 still the daddy don't take my word see Tiff needel's view on fifth gear!

Trying to find a combined oil and water temp gauge but is proving more difficult than expected
Any ideas as I dont really like the current switch solution

You should be able to remove it as all thats holding it on is the O ring. Try giving it a bit of a wiggle that always worked for me. Assuming you have taken out the retaining screw?

thanks chaps, used a very fine file and emery cloth and seems ok.will i can only feel a slight mark no bump really as such.
Will persevere...........
I guess the worse thing that can happen is it eventually wrecke the bearing but I cant see that happening for a while.
Already had to buy an upright so could do without the stub axle too!
-
Just removed the stub axle from the upright and managed to put a slight mark on the shaft>
Its very minor similar to a jaws mark but do I need to replace it?
I put it back onto the shaft and I cant feel any issues but wanted to check
Chris

Thats what I thought too. but seemed that way......
Looks like I may have to bite the bullet
