  1. Due to changing over to a pair of heated seats my GT's are up for sale.

£1,300 ono for the pair including runners, collection from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

Not completely against the idea of a courier but will discuss with the buyer. Ideally collection.

  2. I had my LSD rebuilt with sintered plates over winter and now sometimes makes some serious clonking noises when slowly maneuvering which is 'normal'. its blissfully quiet else which worries me more as these cars being noisy is normal *rofl*

  3. I've just been through exactly this. Took my diff out and went for the rebuild at RRT (amazing service from two great guys). I decided to do this as It's less than half the price of going Tracsport. I will say you can clearly see how much more robust the Tracsport is but so you'd expect for double the cost but i've also read stories of the similar degradation these are all serviceable parts at the end of the day.

The most important thing in your decision is what are you going to be using the car for and how much are you going to use it. With my type of usage i was told i'd need to rebuild the diff (£450) every 4-7 years so even in 10-15 years time i still wont have spent Tracsport money.

Time will tell how true this is and if it doesn't last then I can change it the next time *rofl*

  4. I get exactly the same quirk Angus. Good to hear im not the only one. I've always made the (slightly) educated guess that the engine is in some mid state of cold & hot start up. as its only ever when i restart after its partly cooled. If i turn off the engine and start straight back up its fine equally if i let it cool completely its runs great. As it never lasts long i also just live with it.
