I have a 22% rack and was also unsure of whether it would be too much for road use. But it's absolutely fine. Nice and sharp but totally ungittery. It feels completely normal to me now and I can't imagine ever wanting anything less. I have 10" steering wheel and 185 front tyres. It is slightly heavy at parking speed but completely fine the second you start moving off. Hope that helps.

Exhaust Bobbin

Hi, does the Silencer bracket sit on top of the Bobbin or hang from the bottom of it? It's a k series side exit. Has the L shape bracket bolted to chassis rail. Silencer has a small bracket welded to the end pipe. I can't remember if this sits on top or bottom of the Rubber Bobbin..

I've just changed my very old CR500's to R888R's. They fit really well and look great in the arches. I did adjust the front stays very slightly but is easy to do. Really pleased with the grip and ride feel. Am happy that my car sits a bit higher at the front now as it was too low anyway. Will adjust the back down a bit to get the rake back to where it should be. Very happy with them

Hi, doe's anyone run 205 R888's on 13x8 rears? Apparently they're recommended for 5.5-7.5" but can they be used on 8" or is that a definite no? Many thanks.

0w40 is listed on the home page of this forum under the 'K' series service info.

My 1.6 k super sport currently has 5w50 fully synth in it. Is this fine or should I use 0w40 as recommended on the K series info listed on here? It's used for road mainly with 1 track day a year. Also has Apollo tank. Many thanks.

Quick sizing question from recent newbie. I have 13" wheels x 8" rear, 6" front Currently have CR500 205x55 and 175x55 (these look in fantastic condition but are 11years old.. so a bit worried they've probably gone off a bit..!) So looking to put Toyo 888's on. Question is, the 888's only come in 60 profile and no 175 width so would 185 be fine on the 6" fronts and 60 profile instead of 55 all round? Many thanks.

Hi all. I have just taken the plunge and bought a Seven again. 1.6k Supersport It has standard discs, calipers and pads which just don't feel that great. Is there a better Pad option recommended for brisk Road use that would give them a bit more bite? Or should I be looking to upgrade the calipers? I had a 1700 supersprint years ago and its brakes also had the same lacklustre feel to them.. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Greg.
