  1. Tyre size conversion calculator with speed variance; https://www.willtheyfit.com
  2. my photography skills are appalling. But hopefully these help 1. runs across steering rack before entering bottom of radiator from o/s 2. lower hose visible just below top hose. From steering rack back to thermostat. 3. opposite view point of image 1 from n/s 4. another view point of image 2.
  3. I can get you a photo of my Sigma SuperSport 140 today, i imagine its the same
  4. That’s really interesting thank you, i just visited their website and you dilute their product with water before use. Scottoiler’s FS365 is also water based which i have used on motorbikes for years with great results, but I was slightly concerned that the water may not completely evaporate in the grot traps if trapped in crud. I may considering using both, keeping the ACF50 for the grot traps
  5. Thanks Beagler, next dry day’s job then. I live in Scotland, so the Winter may have passed before such a day happens!
  6. Thanks folks, I too have bought a large 4 litre container and will try the warming with a bowl of hot water. My garage is some distance from my house and the idea of finding a solution (no pun intended) that reduced the likelihood of it all cooling before I got my car out to spray it, made me look into other possibilities. Thanks Guy, I did see this, but liked the idea of using a garden sprayer or similar with a long lance so I can get right into the grot traps and up behind the fuel tank.
  7. My apologies if this has been discussed, but I’m struggling to find. I’m just about to prep my 7 for winter and wondering if anyone uses ACF50 mixed with isopropyl alcohol to dilute (producing a less viscous solution for vaporisation spraying, with the isopropyl alcohol evaporating quickly leaving only the ACF50 in situ). If so, what ratio do you use please? Lots of chat on motorcycle forums highlighting ratios between 5-50% which seems a huge variance. Thanks folks John
  8. Looking for a Sigma decat pipe with lambda sensor fitting. Thanks John
  9. Nov 22 - Sept 23, minus Jan 23 (Don't know where that's gone), plus 2023 Calendar (just in time to use the last 2 months :-)) Free as long as postage is covered.

    Winter storage

Thank you so much James, my maths ain't that good. That's doable though on the few days we get really cold snaps.

    Winter storage

I was wondering if I could get a low draw 12v tube heater or similar and run it off a large car / van battery. Just unsure of how long I'd get before recharge and potential damage to battery being constantly depleted. Albeit lead acid not great in cold conditions, so perhaps lithium? Don't know???

My garage is away from the house with no power, so heating it is out. I used to get terrible condensation. However, I put a new roof on it just over a year ago and kept the soffits completely open keeping a good flow of air at all times. I've only had a very short lived condensation issue once since.
  13. A shorter, more twisty, but beautiful route too (20 miles or so) Aberfoyle North on A821 (Duke's Pass) (I often do this back and forth a couple of times on this run) - Loch Katrine a great stop on the other side of the pass. Right A84 to Callander Right A81 to Lake of Menteith Right A81 at Rob Roy Hotel Back in Aberfoyle
  14. Glencoe / Ranoch Moor stunning, but usually very busy
  15. My usual loop (100 or so miles) You can obviously join / leave at any point. A826 from Aberfeldy (amazing old military road) right at A822 to Gilmerton (amazing old military road) right on A85 through Crief / Comrie / St Filans / Lochearnhead right A85 to LIX Toll right A827 through Killin / Kenmore (quite bumpy alongside Loch Tay) you're back to Aberfeldy
  16. Thanks Drumster, I'll definitely give that a go then
  17. Simple things I know, but replacing the plastic toggle switches for the indicators, main / dipped beam and headlight flash makes such a tactile difference, and looks? Now some new main switches too perhaps, they've somewhat degraded with time and UV light I guess?
  18. Sorry, I am red / green colourblind. Glad I took the photo. I'll amend my post in case it causes confusion
  19. Here we go Green / Blue & Brown / Black abeit I am colourblind, so photos also attached
  20. Since fixing mine, it does still very occasionally drop to low to mid 70s, but very quickly returns to 80ish again. I really don't know what else I can do, or whether I should even try, this might just be a trait of some Sigma engines. A number of thermostats in, complete coolant flush (twice) as I lost everything when I changed the last thermostat, new temp sender, checked water pump, pulleys and aux belt (fine), check for leaks (none), bled and re-bled system. I did have an issue with thermostats sticking from what I believe was radiator sealant in my system to start with, but my symptoms greatly reduced after the above noted work.
