Hi, I have been advised by insurers that I need a tracker given car value is over £40k. I have searched already on the forum for previous posts, but most are a couple of years old. Does anyone have any recent experience of researching tracker options? I will have a battery master cutoff switch fitted to the car, so a tracker that is deactivated when the cutoff switch is turned off wont be much use!

Hi, I am looking for some advice on trailer dimensions. I am looking to buy a Brian James A4 transporter with a GT covers PVC cover, and therefore the nose of the caterham will not be able to overhang the front end of the load bed. Looking for some advice guidance on what the best trailer dimensions would be, based on the options below: Load bed length: 330cm or 370cm? Load bed width: 170cm or 180cm? Internal height: I can spec whatever I want, but am thinking 140cm or 150cm? Thanks!

Is anyone who has this upgrade able to provide some feedback on this upgrade offered by Caterham. On paper not a significant jump. Caterham's website refers to improved torque across the entire range, better throttle responsiveness and better exhaust note. Is this true, and how noticeable are the effects?

I have kept my car garaged for the past couple of months (handbrake off), and went to push it forwards over the weekend and it seemed stuck and then suddenly gave way with a noise coming from all four wheels. Is this likely to be because the pads and discs had stuck together? Does this do any damage to the car? Is there anything I can do to stop it happening? Probably a simple question, but any answers would be appreciated!

My battery went dead this week after just a week since being last used. Have had a quick read of other threads, and tips seem to be: (i) buy a battery charger/conditioner and leave connected up. (ii) Take the red battery master switch off. Should I do both of these simultaneously, or would doing one negate the effect of the other? (not technically minded so any advice appreciated!)

I am looking to buy a trolley jack, and am choosing between three with entry heights of 130mm, 145mm or 85mm. The low entry (85mm) jack is double the price of the other two, so don't want to buy it unless I have to. I currently have Avon CR322's and even the 145mm would fit under the car - if I changed tyres to Avon CR500's will that lower the ride height of the car and mean I would need to go for the 85mm low entry jack? Thanks!

Is there a certain type of jack that is most recommended (scissor jack, bottle jack, trolley jack)? Would I need axle stands as well? Am I likely to get into problems with misalignment, new vibrations etc, or is it as straightforward as putting the new wheels on and tightening up? Thanks

Please excuse the basic questions... I have just bought a Roadsport CDX on 13" Avon CR322's (factory built so don't knoiw my way round the car as well as I should) and would like to get some CR500's for trackday use. I gather I should get a second set of wheels also, as it is easier to change the wheels than just the tyres - is this correct? Is it easy to change the wheels over myself, or am I better off taking them to a garage? If I do change the wheels myself what equipment will I need (Jacks etc)? Any help much appreciated!
