You just get the individual letters and numbers. They used to be held on by those little sprung star clips. Flea bay here…https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203828141428?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=BS8rP77RQ4C&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=AKiU_P6zTMG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Speedo drive out the side of the box. No problems, can't stop the car, why bother "improving" it.......
-
Hi Rob, it was good to meet you last week and it was great fun playing chase, especially that last session!
-
-
So, Gibbo; we are all a bit bemused by this I think it is fair to say.
Do you know the history of the box, or indeed the car before you had it? To join and machine an input shaft just seems daft- they aren't exactly difficult to find after all.
It can't be a Caterham job, surely...
-
Likewise, I have used it in my Seven for over 20 years, (Change every 2) no problems at all.
-
Hahahahahahahaha......
just don't go below a quarter, in a straight line, on the flat.
-
I assume 21 owners store them when the pop up on eBay Stephen.
A chap and his son came to look at it on Friday. The had a very thorough look, approved of it structurally ( big Cappu rust issues) drove it and liked it, but decided it was too good for them..... Nice chaps, but slightly baffling.

Proper little tardis t he Cappuccino! More space that a Seven easily, I can actually drive in my size 12 work boots!
-
Hi Paul, clutch cable, plugs and alternator belt. I did a clutch cable outside a bar in Italy with mine yonks ago and got a round of applause from some Harley guys! A "one size fits all" HT/plug lead won't take much space either.
-
I think it is time to sell my Suzuki Cappuccino and go for something even smaller and about 100 years old....
it's a 94 UK model, 65000 miles and in great original condition. Most importantly it has no rust( nor repairs) and a perfect gearbox. It's like having a comfy Seven 160 with air-con and a radio! £6250.

I fitted a pressurised system to my BDR when we were getting high temps in traffic. Just took the overflow up to an alloy expansion tank on the bulkhead. I use one of those lever caps on it, 25psi iirc. Return to the pump. Just don't get the caps mixed up...trouble ensues.
Works perfectly. -
I have just noticed, my paint was £675 and yours £676! Did they have inflation in the nineties?
-
By the way Anthony, mine is now 496kg dry of all fluids. That did take an alloy block, alloy gearbox casings, Barnby wheels, no screen, wipers, weather gear or spare wheel & bracket and Tillets- but no cf. Oh, and I still have tunnel carpet...you have to have some luxury!

I agree with Chris on the tube, my '90 HPC tube broke and I replaced it with the later one, no problem. It would probably be worth asking Redline about the best fit.
I never saw a de Dion with drums, but the first couple of years production apparently did have 9" drums.
-
Does anyone have any cheap old 14 or 15" Ford centre wheels ( and tyres) just as workshop rollers? Suffolk area.
-
Why not remove the lid and fit a top bung to fill through?
You can then suck out through said hole. Luckily, I have alloy BGH casings, so both top and bottom have plugs ( with a dipstick too- luxury) -
I used to shy away from Comma, but apparently it's Mobil in disguise.
-
If it is fine, then great. But chuck a thrust bearing at it though.
-
Hi, if either falls through, can I have a pair please?
-
I had an old post office moules marinier van axle with a 4.5 diff in it....flat out at about 90, but boy it got there quick!
-
I thought the Duratec was a U.S. motor? Are they not tuned over your side? Or Maybe a 2.3 CSR type jobbie....
-
I'm going back armed with an official Caterham letter stating mine was component build for completion by the armature builder on Monday...But this is to get it re-registered in the Uk after a 20 year holiday in Jersey! So, no V5 yet.

Wow! That is some set of t’s&c’s!
Don’t know them, but wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole given those terms.
