  1. STOP PRESS - For your information: Please head to the 'News' Section of the Caterham website where you will find the latest information from Caterham on this issue. There will also be an article and news item in this month's Lowflying magazine which you should be receiving over the next few days.
  2. As a mark of respect and tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Caterham and Lotus 7 Club will be 'flying' a black and white logo for the duration of the period of national mourning following the sad news announced yesterday. For the majority of members she will have been the only Monarch we have known; and indeed many of you will have your own personal memories of seeing or meeting the Queen at one of the thousands of events she has undertaken during the time of her long reign. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time, and we wish King Charles III the very best for the future. Long Live The King
  3. There is still time to book onto this Blat - and the weather looks good. Hope to see everyone at 10 am on the Saturday!
  4. Formally announcing the ‘Caterham and Lotus Seven Club’ I am delighted to announce that effective from 7th November 2021, the Club formally became the “Caterham and Lotus Seven Club” following the decisive outcome of the members’ vote earlier in the year. Now that the formal name change has been adopted, the work of updating the Club’s identity throughout the many locations that it is used is proceeding. This process will of course take some time to complete but in the first instance, our new name is being displayed on November’s edition of Lowflying and is being rolled out across the Club’s various locations online. We have now adopted the new web domain: www.caterhamlotus7.club and whilst the old web address will continue to forward to this URL for some time, we would encourage all members to change their browser bookmarks to the new address, and also to note that the email addresses to contact Club officers have also changed (see November’s Lowflying or look on the Club website under “About Us” for details). A new range of Club merchandise is being worked on and will be available soon. The address to view and order merchandise online is now: www.7gear.store - do keep an eye on the range as this is surely the perfect Christmas present opportunity… The Leadership Team of the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club hopes that all members will fully embrace our new, more inclusive title which better reflects the full lineage of the cars we are so passionate about. We remain that same club of dedicated Seven enthusiasts, under the same Club logo motif that we adopted in 2003. Only the name has changed — a little. As we have said before and are happy to repeat, the Club does not want to lose one iota of the Lotus Seven Club, just “add Caterham”.
  5. Good afternoon everyone, I am sure this topic will be of increasing interest to our members, so I have taken the liberty of making this thread a 'sticky' to assist those wanting to find information on the use of E10/E5 fuel in their cars. To add some 'real world' experience, I lived in France for six years, and as an early adopter of the E10 SP95 fuel, I used this fuel frequently in my car which is a Yr 2000 K series. Often I had no choice, if I wanted to fill up! I did change my rubber water hoses for silicone, but apart from that I used the car as intended. I had no issues. Due to the small number of real miles I do with my car, I do use super unleaded anyway now I am in the UK again - but just wanted to let people know my experiences.
