  3. Thanks rich, sounds great. I bought my 7 (and first seven) in may , so been getting to grips with it and enjoying some of the fine Sussex roads. There was an East Sussex group but I think most of the members left and did something with a group in Kent.
  4. I'm also a relatively new owner, I joined the East Sussex group but doesn't seem to be much activity, I'll seek a free transfer to mid Sussex !
  5. Are there a few 7's around in East Sussex ? I'm in Eastbourne and seen a regular yellow 7 spinning around but not a lot else
  6. Some git has scuffed and scratched my daughters car, I've managed to get most of there paint off her car and wondered if there was anything other than T-cut to help with the scratch. Running my finger nail over it is is a definite scratch and we wouldn't want to bother with a repair, just wondered if people had any tips to dumb it down a bit .
  7. great idea RS, also gives me something to do whilst the weather is cak !

I'll check the garage floor again at the weekend ! thanks all again, another piece of knowledge gained in the 7 journey !

  10. It's a 2007 k series , do I need to roll my trouser leg up to fill it up or is it simpler !?!

  14. Ok, so it's not my 7 but the family car is in need of some help on the wheels, I'm pretty sure someone had the key to cleaning this general road cak of alloy wheels, jet washing won't move it, it need some extra help, any ideas i]on the best product ?
  15. Not me , the car. Recent purchase (2007 SV 160) but noticed this week 2 small drips on the garage floor of a clear ish liquid (not water) ( Drivers side under the front axle) and also occasionally i get a similar drip on my right ankle in the foot well (not every time). Had bonnet off and cant see anything obvious, not that it would stand out to me ! any clues on if this is something regular and where to prod to find out more ! Thanks all !

  19. Ok, so, finally picked up my first ever seven a couple of weeks ago and Ive managed a couple of outings, brilliant fun. but, I've gone to fill it up at the petrol station and all I managed to do was to cover my shoes and the back of the car with Petrol, tried every possible angle, going slow , going fast but no good. Tried another petrol station, same problem. The flap valve moves when I poke it but I'm clearly being a MASSIVE numpty so I know someone here will be able to help.
