yep oakmere or Caterham

thinking of wrapping mine ,found some sleeve stuff and will give it a try. Wondered if the flow is better, will the heat be less,or am i talking rubbish. The stuff I have seen is looser than the wrap ,so heat transfer in the bay is reduced. So no need to spin the back of the alternator terms ?
-
what are the views on exhaust wrap/sleeve to reduce heat ? and did anyone have to mod the alternator or starter due to heat
-
ok, finding out 421 systems for a K series are a bit thin on the ground used,so I have sold my soul and purchased new from Caterham . I will be fitting it over the coming month once I get the car MOT'd
Any tips on cutting the hole in the body (tools and technics used?) .Also considering giving the system a polished finish, again tips welcome.Do I have to change anything under the bonnet on my 2005 s3 imp chassis? Alternator and starter ok?,would you used wadding to keep the heat down?

I have the caterham 4-1 (standard) already so dont think its what i am after.is yours standard single pipe out of the side or 4-1 primaries outside the car?
-
not after bragging rights ,but at 140 with 2 up i notice a difference. To get it around 160-165 would be the sweet spot IMHO, nice and ample for road use.My old elise was around 170-175 and it suited it well, especially with the c/r box

whats the best price new and who from??
-
long shot ,anyone got one stuck in their garaged unloved they want rid of ?? landed my first caterham after a very long wait (30yrs) and the upgrade bug is starting to bite

Do the club not get any discounts from Caterham or Oakmere on parts?
