Interested in your thoughts on securing, I've been using these type of wheel straps on my 4-wheelers and cars for years with no problem. I will say the picture gives an optical illusion that the straps are nearly perpendicular to the wheel, where in reality they are strapped towards the front and back respectively - perhaps that illusion is what gave you heartburn?

Yep, Hull Trailers is a trailer company out in Iowa.

Thanks all for the welcome and tips. Will check out the heritage area. Yes, I'm in the US, but unfortunately quite a ways from Michigan (southeastern NC).

I'm a new owner of a 1965 Super Seven (Cosworth 1500). While I'm not new to Lotus (also have a 69 Elan), this is my first Seven. Just got it home yesterday, it appears highly original and is overall in very good shape, but hasn't been run regularly for quite some time. The engine runs well (at idle and low speed), but brakes and suspension need refreshing before it is safe to do much testing. At any rate, though I recognize most here are newer Seven enthusiasts I'm hoping to find a community that has some experience with these older Sevens as well.
