  1. I am selling my very clean PRG open trailer as I have purchased a covered trailer.

    Spec as follows:

    Gross weight = 2000kg

    Unladen weight = 510kg approx

    Load capacity = 1490kg approx

    Bed length = 365cm

    Bed width = 190cm

I am not sure of the age of the trailer but have owned it for 12 months to transport my 620S SV to trackdays.

    The trailer tows very well, is reliable and has good tyres, its features include;

Extra long ramps (2.5metres) for loading low cars.

       Manual tow hitch,

       Full length deck.

       Spare wheel.

       Bolt on wheel chocs.

       Barrel lock with 2 keys.

       7 pin connector.

When i bought the trailer I replaced the complete jockey wheel, the winch belt & the breakaway cable and the rubber bellows. I then took it to PRG who serviced it on 23/06/2020.

    Located on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border

  2. Not just me then!

Had exactly the same problem after i bought my 620s privately.

Clutch worked perfectly for about 10 miles then progressively failed until the pedal went flat to the floor.

After parking up for about half an hour and letting the car cool down, the clutch started working again ... and then progressively got worse as the car heated up. After bleeding the system there was a slight improvement but the problem continued.

Like you i thought it was heat related as the removable pedal box cover was getting very hot, so i covered it in heat reflective tape. This resulted in an improvement but after letting the car stand for a couple of weeks the pedal was progressively getting softer.

I eventually solved the problem by replacing the clutch fluid master cylinder cap and the problem was fixed, It was probably a problem with the seal - so maybe it was an issue with overheating that resulted in a damaged seal.

Anyway three years later and the problem has not returned. As a side note: covering the pedal box cover with heat reflective tape greatly reduced the heat transfer into the cab.

    Hope this helps

  3. My problem is that the bracket is well & truly stuck to the glass (possibly with a superglue), so i have popped the mirror off the bracket and so i am looking for a mirror i can pop back on in its place.

I worry that if i remove the bracket it may damage the windscreen. Looks like i will have to order a like for like mirror from Caterham.

    Thanks for all the replies

  4. Thanks for the advice. Local Caterham dealer is getting back to me tomorrow.

Not had a lot of luck with this as it failed the MOT on March 1st at a local station, so booked it in at main dealer who could not fit it in for 3 weeks. Day after it went in they closed for Covid. When they re-openned they had to wait for Caterham to open for ECU info as they changed the Lambda sensor and now they have identified the car has no cat!
