I have my old R400K radiator, it works fine since I bought the car 2 months ago..
has been patched, but no leaks.
If any racers out there need a spare for emergencies, you're welcome to it !..
Would need to collect, in South Oxfordshire.
cheers Graham

Hi all, just fitting my new Redtec Rad, whats the best way to seal the temp sensor into the new rad (which I've removed from old one, complete with old fiber washers !)
the thread is 22mm,..fiber washers ?.,..are they a std plumbing size (my 22mm fiber washers are outside diameter 22mm....hence no good).
thanks Graham

Hi all, looking to put 4 M5 rivnuts in to secure an Oil catch tank in the bulkhead.,.
prefer not have to buy a tool and rivnuts
does anyone have a tool and half a dozen M5 ali Rivnuts I can borrow(tool) / buy(rivnuts) ?
ie stick the lot in a bag and post it to me....I'll of course cover postage and loaner costs :-)
or I'm in South Oxon if someone is local
thanks Graham

Hi all, looking to replace the crappy plastic catch tank (located driver side/front of car), with a Mocal Alloy tank fitted to bulkhead (where hater used to be). 2003 car with dry sump/bell housing.
this tank: https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/mocal-alloy-oil-catch-tank-245403/
Is the 1Litre ok ?..spotted a few old BC posts that confirmed that.
WRT connections, current plastic tank has one pipe connected into top of bottle, assume that pipe routes to one of Mocal connections....what goes on the other connection?..just a drain pipe to bottom of car somewhere ??
Finally, does it matter that new position for catch tank is much higher than current tank ?...ie gravity plays no part here?
thanks all

Hi, does anyone know the correct model for the R400K with Roller barrel TBs ?.
I've taken mine out and found the inner foam at either end has been disintegrating..no doubt getting sucked into the engine !..
Also, do you also 'oil' the filter when you put it back in (after cleaning), or after fitting a new one ?
having done this many times on my Son's MX bike...I did see on Pipercross website a warning about oiling if you have an airflow meter ??
thanks all
