  1. Have you reset the immobiliser after you disconnected the battery? By setting it (rapid flashing) and then unsettling it? It sometimes takes several presses of the setting button.
  2. Offer of a call still there - mine does something very similar sometimes, usually caused by a low battery but I can always get it going.
  3. I have a k series also, it sounds like the idle air control valve is not working correctly, usually coincides with a battery that is not fully charged. You could try resetting this. (Ignition on, press throttle 5 times (fully open each time) ignition off) Then try and restart. I am going into the garage in a few mins - happy to speak on the phone if you PM me your tel no if helpful.
  4. My gearbox leaked from the 5th gear cover plate, took me while to work this out - worth a look it, was an easy fix (fiddly) to take off, apply sealant and re fix plate. It did not need the gearbox removing.
  5. I used KMaps and they were brilliant - transformed the car.
  6. I have had a closer look and I have ordered the wrong part, bush is ok and it is just the washers that are a little past their best. Somebody has provided a link on anther post (many thanks) for replacements. Anybody have a pre 1996 car that wants a Powerflex PF8-903 bush - pick up from near Market Harborough. It's not worth the hassle to return and must be of use to somebody.
  7. I have bought a replacement Powerflex PF8-903 bushing for the Dedion with watts linkage on my 2006 Imperial car. Before I start taking it apart can somebody confirm if this is the right part for my car. I have a feeling I should have ordered PF8 -908....... but this is described as for race which is why I went for the 903 part as this was described as for Road use. Can anybody offer any advice.?
  8. Great many thanks, I will order a black one and see how I get on........
  9. Please can somebody advise what colour temperature sensor should be fitted to the above. My car currently has a brown one for the ECU control, I suspect that this may be the wrong one but it has clearly been fitted for many years. I am looking to replace this as I think it may be this having a fault that is making it hard to start when cold added to the fact that the initial idle speed is then not elevated. Do I replace with another brown one or 'upgrade' to the black one part no. mek000030l? Car is a 2006 EU3 X Power 1800. Opinions please.

    K-Series Radiator

I fitted a Radtec exhaust 3 years ago to an 1800 K series SV. No leaks and service was fantastic, I remember, both in terms of advice and delivery.
