    Thanks for the help. I will get (a) a replacement extinguisher--my bottle is over 10 years old, so my understanding is that it is beyond use date. (b) I will get 'proper' printed Blue book. I think working out what the best option for sprints is my next task, hopefully get one with the same fittings--that would be too easy though.

    Yeah, that is my understanding-couldn't find specifics in Blue Book- was always easier when there was a paper version. It is currently out, and I will cover the pull toggle to remove any ambiguity, but don't want to turn up and find I need one.

    Doing the Curborough sprints end of August. My extinguiser (car is ex academy) is well out of date, including bottle- Am I still right in thinking you don't need an extinguisher for hillclimbs/sprints, or am I showing how long it is since I competed? And gloves-requirement or optional? Looking forward to it though Many thanks
