I had always lusted after a genuine Caterham but houses, children and a wife list as long as your arm always seemed to get in the way. However around 7 years ago I got a sevenesque vehicle which I basically re-built which was a useful exercise, sold and bought a GTM Spyder which once again was basically re-built. During all this time I was so lucky that my wife also fell in love with the "silly cars" and we have had many a laugh together both here and on the continent. In January, I sold the GTM and took the plunge and bought a Roadsport from Sevens and Classics. What a difference, they say until you have really driven a Caterham you won't know what we are talking about - how true. Well now we have planned a 2600 mile Europe roadtrip starting in around a months time and we can't wait.
