    Thank you for the link. I've now measured the glass thickness and is nearly 2mm thicker than my current windscreen. No wonder it doesn't fit! I bought it at GP Sevens open day, disappointing really but hard to second guess it wouldn't be suitable.Presumably it's a custom made track glass or something? Anyhow, anyone know where I can buy a replacement S3 glass only windscreen? Heated or not heated, Hard to get hold of and too risky to post. I'm in Kent and at Brooklands Saturday if anyone has one. Thanks all.

    Thank you Jonathan. I had no idea they may be more than one gasket available. And I never had any spacers either?My only experience is what I have. I'm reluctant to take my current screen apart in case I end up with nothing! Searched Windscreens and Gaskets but couldn't find anything. Does anyone else know anything about this, plot thickens! Thanks so much.

    Thank you guys, all feedback is appreciated. I'm all good on the front face of the popper but concerned about the back inside the channel. Please can you expand on the spacers? I don't have any but it is a used frame. I just have the screen rubber around the glass. It's very difficult to get the glass to seat in the frame. I thought maybe the back of the rivets might be hindering getting the glass to seat fully home. Using my current screen for reference, the window rubber is nearly all the way in the channel with hardly any rubber to be seen. I watched Rob Oldlands video on changing windscreen glass, used liberal amounts of silicone lubricant but didn't manage to get it fitted successfully. And scared of cracking the glass of course. Robs one was a lot easier than mine!

    I have had the windscreen frame refurbished and now need to refix the press studs for the hood along the top. My only experience is with blind pop rivets but these will seem to protrude too much into the glass channel. This is the only sort of riveting I have ever done, my rivet gun must be 30 years old! Can anyone enlighten me on the best solution? Thanks so much.

    Thanks Jonathan, one single indicator light on the dash. Just about to change to LED indicators, JAL front ones have arrived, waiting stock for rear, should I do this first? Yes please to a wiring diagram, 97 K series 1.6 SuperSport, thanks so much.

    Hi, I have an indicator warning buzzer to fit There are two red supply wires, one for each side and a black earth. Where is the best place to pick up the indicator wires for best/easiest fit? And anything else I should know? Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search and couldn't see it. Thanks all.

    Thank you John, I'm going to check all those things you have suggested. I did wonder about the oil leak, is there a rubber seal anywhere or is it just the bits I can see, brass top hat, circlip, angled drive etc?

    My speedo started reading low closely followed by not working at all. I've not had the car long but have familiarized myself with how it works through these pages, thanks all! The cable in the speedo looks secure, can someone please advise if the gearbox end looks ok? It's a little insecure but I think that's quite normal. In not exactly sure how it's supposed to look. Thanks so much.

    I was hoping so but alas no. I've got the gearstick off and it's on the bench. It would be sensible if there were flats in the shaft for a spanner but it's all round. Frustrating!

    Hi, I'm new! Sorry if this is a silly question or it's been done before. I have purchased a new gear knob for my type 9 box, 3/8" thread. When I went to fit it (I ordered it while away and didn't check) and I have an adapter screwed on top for the current plastic knob. I need to remove this but there's nothing to get a grip of. I thought maybe put two nuts locked together on the adapter and use a spanner to undo it but don't know what size but it's a very course thread. And griping the gear stick itself is a bit dubious too. It seems to be stuck fast, I've used penetrating fluid but hasn't made any difference. Has anyone had any experience of this, any ideas welcome! Thanks folks.
