Exige 410, I did have an advantage with the stability control definitely turned on!

Note on some cars these days the cigarette socket "switches off" after a period on time with the ignition off and therefore you cannot charge via them.

Not as though it helps but I've had no problem using a CTEK 5 with either the Odyssey PC680 (over a year) or Banner (nearly 3 years) In both cases charger is/was connected all the time the car is garaged.

The lazy mans solution ..... order both 41mm and 42mm using Amazon Prime next day delivery and return the one that doesn't fit
Mine measured 41mm for the two 2018 cars I've owned

Sounds encouraging

Certainly interested in the solution / outcome of your testing.

Think I've still got what you're looking for, plenum, throttle body, airbox etc. Came off my 420R when swapped over to roller barrels.
Will take a look in the garage tomorrow

did mention the problem but was told it was the first time they had heard of it.
By complete contrast when I picked up my first Caterham a few years back I was warned of the problem and at the time was given a Racing Cap foc!

Pedal position looks pretty standard to me. Size 10 feet, drive in plimsoles. Tuck foot under clutch peddle and as mentioned above lowered floor makes this much easier regardless of S3 or S5 chassis.

My immobiliser lives close to the wiper motor but has all identical black wires, no separate obvious earth wire

That's good news!
I'd love to know how much time/money Caterham spend having to fix stuff "under warranty" judging by what I read on BC and my own experience. -
Sorry I can't recall the actual car I had that time (I've been loaned a number of cars over the past 3 1/2 years, never the same one), however I don't think the damage in the car I drove was as extensive an area as your example, judging by your pictures,

Anyone elses heated screen got this in the corners
A car I borrowed last year from Gatwick, when mine was in for a service, had the same "damage".
That glass effect looks very similar to when I accidentally ruined/delaminated some glass on my french doors using a pressure washer with the wrong nozzle (high pressure) attached.

I've recently changed the oil twice in the last few months in my Sierra lsd diff. The original oil was mineral based (make unknown).
I first tried Motul synthetic (the Caterham endorsed one) and then tried RTT mineral based oil.
I'm convinced the diff runs more smoother/quieter with the RRToil than the Motul stuff but then I don't have significant whine with my diff. -
I didn't say I was intending to drive it anywhere

In light of this thread, plus it being more appealing than cleaning my tin top this afternoon , I decided to swap to my Momo Mod27 270mm (only if temporarily) as I haven't tried it in this car to date and thought it and I deserved another chance.
In case anyone's interested, my rough measurements show an extra 25mm "thigh/leg" clearance available using a "flat" over a standard round 270mm wheel.
Alternative to Softbits steering wheel bag?
