  1. Thanks, it is lovely in the sunlight for sure. Detonator Yellow is an Official Caterham colour in the optional Pearlescent range.
  2. No problem. You may well be right, but I've also been told by others that I'm being too honest over such small marks and shouldn't mention them at all! However that's not my style. I will be getting them sorted out, however in the meantime it's still here and for sale!
  3. Just to let you know that this is now advertised on Pistonheads as well. It would be great if it went to an existing or previous owner on here. Slight price adjustment also. :)
  4. Many thanks, I've PM'd you. Regards, Doug.
  5. Lowered floors, sure you need an SV? ;)
  6. Hi, So it's with somewhat a heavy heart that I'm selling my 620S (S3). With three kids and a very busy life, I'm just not going to get the use out of it that I thought I would. I don't want any messing about with a long-winded private sale so it's going to go to one of the dealers that want it most likely. However, before I did that (and before they add their considerable markup to it), I thought I'd give somebody the chance to grab it if they wanted at a knocked-down price. So without further ado here are some details and pics. It was purchased new for £52k and registered last July and has done circa 2600 miles. I am of course the only owner. Here are the options over the base spec: Detonator Yellow Pearl Paint Seats - Heated Carbon Seats with Padding 13” Apollo alloy with ZZS Momo quick-release steering wheel Battery master cut-off switch Lowered floors Front – aerofoil wishbones Black pack Softbits Half-Hood Unused Indoor Caterham Soft Car Cover LED Headlights The photos include those of a couple of scratches. Other than those paint scratches it is in excellent condition. I do have the two part touch-up paint kit from Caterham but haven't got around to applying it. Like I said, I won't keep it on here for long but if anyone is interested then give me a shout and we can chat some more. The car is in Worthing, West Sussex. I am asking for £45,999 Many thanks, Doug http://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/a.jpg http://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/b.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/c.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/d.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/e.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/f.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/g.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/h.jpghttp://douggoodridge.com/download/620s/i.jpg
  7. Lovely day for a drive, I let you change lanes, I was in the black Tesla Model S. Thought about waving before I remembered I wasn't in my 7! :)

I'm on the second tank now so I'll let you know how I get on, although early indications are better as I'm around half a tank down after 70-80 miles. I suspecting the car just needed to settle in after the first few dozen miles. Transmission and general response also feeling much smoother now.

Yeah, I'm not concerned from a cost point of view as it's my weekend toy. I'm sure it'll settle down in time. I'll report back. ;)

Me too! I'm hopeful it just needs to settle down into something a little better. I'd be happy with 150 miles from a tank (circa 22mpg) but 100 (15mpg) would be disappointing. Having driven a Tesla for the last two years filling up with petrol was an odd experience yesterday anyway, but it looks like I better get used to it again! lol.

Yeah so I knew the gauge was going to be out (it's a Caterham after all), but the slight surprise for me was the range. I did 70 miles on those 22 litres....

Been through my first tank now in the 620S. Got to midway into the red zone on the gauge before squeezing 22 litres in at a station. So based on my mileage I think I'd only have got 100 miles out of the full tank. Less than expected given I wasn't going above 5k rpm, but it could just be because it is brand new and it needs to settle down.
