  1. I'm lookin for a standard black leather seat for my 2002 roadsport S3.I've got the runners.A rather heavy last owner has broken the back of the old one and i'm gettin fed up driving with a pillow stuffed down behind the seat.Ta.
  2. I have a 2002 roadsport with 12.000 mls on it.Since I bought it a couple of years ago it has a knock from the diff, worse when the oil is hot.Silly question, but is this normal, because as the diff is bolted to the chassis, noise will be transmitted more easily,or does it need fixing?
  3. I'm lookin for a drivers seat for my 2002 roadsport,(heavy last owner).Standard black leather,i've got the runners.Anyone out there? Also i've got a knock from the diff especially when the car/oil is hot, which would make sense I suppose. The car has only done 12.000mls,which is dissappointing,or is it normal to hear this as the diff is bolted directly to the chassis.Any info gratefully received.Charlie.
  4. Ta for the reply,i'll take some pics.
  5. I recently aquired the above.Previous owner said that he had new spax shockers fitted but car hadn't been set up.As i'm in Scotland, nowhere near any of the specialists is there a standard height from floor to say upper suspension mounts or body front and rear Also I noticed that the rear springs are not concentric with the shockers.I assume there is a 'centering bush which fits above the spring adjusting nut threaded on to the shocker which must have been left out.Any help appreciated please.Charlie.
  6. Hi all, recently bought a 1.6 K roadsport. The seller reckons he fitted new spax adjustables but hasn't 'set it up'.Any ideas about ride height,ie, is their a standard measurement from floor to say body, front and rear,or floor to lower shocker mounts? Also on inspecting the shockers/springs,I note that the lower end of the spring is not concentric with the shocker and is over to one side.Should there be a bush above the spring height adjusting nut to keep the spring central.Maybe when they fitted the new shockers it was left out.Cheers,Charlie.
