Mmmmm thats really weird , i thought i was going to get pulled as they said my static noise was 99! so i was very close but i never did ( obviously not trying hard enough!!) -
Hi Would anyone be interested in camshafts and valve springs form a 2.0 Duratec (175) (r300) these are pretty much brand new done about 300miles

must admit im not sure what to do ! , ive got a new set of the 13" in black for track with zzs tyres (which i love the look of as my car is yellow!) even thought about selling all the 15's and getting another set of 13" 8 spokes in antracite !!

Hi I have 5 brand new , think they are CSR 6.5x15" antracite 10 spoke wheels for sale which i have taken off my new r300 , just been registered (replaced them with Orcus ones) as i said they are brand new and i have them in the boxes the orcus ones came in . one of them also has a brand new avon cr 500 tyre on it (this was the spare). Would anyone be interested in these?

Hi Great thanks , much appreciated , yes the roller barrells do seem a hell of a lot , are those costs from caterham themselves? ive spoke to a guy who recomended putting my car on the rolling rd and getting it properly set up / mapped (its a bit hesitant and lumpy i feel with a tendency for the revs to drop and sometimes cut out when pulling away) but said if i did the other wk which you've descibed i'd then have to have it rolling roaded again after that (another £400-£500) hence the thought of doing the wk now. Choices Choices!!!

Hi Just wondered if anyone could confirm what bhp my car has its just been registerd as new but the engine is an R300 2.0 Duratec wet sump SVA 2010 , (thats what it says on the original reciept) has this got 175BHP ??? . looking at having the roller barrell /throttle bodies and wondering what this would give me (220??) the guy ive spoke to said my car need cams and valves as well , is that all part of it?. Im total engine novice so just trying to get a handle on it all. Any info /advice greatly recieved*smile*

I ve got 15 inch orcus with avon CR500 s 195 x 45 that it came with , im going to do a track day soon with 13inch wheels 8inch rears , wondering the same thing does anything need changing suspension / set up wise ?. -
Hi Got a 2.0 duratec caterham , brand new with only 130 miles , when its idling its fine but the first bit of throttle input sees the revs die to a point sometimes that it cuts out if it doesnt then it picks up . on a very small static throttle input on the drive it goes up and down constantly . does it need rolling road / mapping properly ?

Hi Mines a bit of a long story but my car / kit was bought about 9 yrs ago ! the guy who owned it had it in his garage for about 4 yrs then had some one start building it for him got it pretty much finished to a lovely spec ARCH chassis , 2.0 duratec , carbon everything , 6 speed . Unfortunately before he could drive / get it on the road he sadly passed away and i managed to get it through word of mouth , i have all the paperwk that was needed to prove everything was new so can get a new reg but havent got any guide like that ! Have rung DVLA 3 times and had a different answer each time ! think ive got it nailed down to those forms i just wanted to make sure everything is in order so it doesnt all get sent back. So yep a photo might be very usefull indeed!

Hi Just picked up my new pride and joy after it has gone through the IVA test and was wondering if anyone could guide me on the process of which forms and documents (iva test pass obviously!) to get my new reg . Am i right in saying i need a V355/4 and a V267 declaration that a vehicle is new form.Also copy of drivers licence , is that right? Just want to get it right first time so i can get on the road ASAP !! any help / guidance very much appreciated!! Not sure what type of body i need to put on the forms as well !
