Morning all - happy Easter! I note in the paperwork for next weekend's sprint that camping is not permitted at Hethel Circuit. Just checking if this is correct and, if so, where are you planning on parking up the night before? We've got a a 5 to 6 hour drive on the Saturday and looking for somewhere to park up overnight with the motorhome and trailer. Thanks, Neal
Afternoon all I'm looking to change the coolant thermostat on a 1700 xflow but not sure what temperature one is required. Burton Power have 3 listed for the xflow; 82, 88 & 91 °c. Which one should I use? Thanks
Apologies Beagler, was travelling most of yesterday and no access to the forum. Yes, all sorted now with a new one on order. Thanks again for your kind offer
Evening all I've replaced both rear wheel brake cylinders, fitted new shoes, new pistons, seals and pads to front. Full bleed with new DOT4 using pressurised ezebleed but the rear brakes are not registering on the brake test rollers at mot station. The brake peddle doesn't feel that great - lots of travel. Less than a handful of miles on the new brakes. There is some pressure there as I can't rotate drums with break peddle fully depressed. There is no fluid leaks. Only part I didn't service was the master cylinder - Girling 74660152. Could this be the issue? Thanks Neal PS Parking break not not doing much either, despite adjustments made!
Hi all Putting fresh oil in the Ital diff/axle - chassis plate says to use Spirex HD95/140 oil but I'm struggling to find this. I'd appreciate some advice on a suitable alternative. Thanks Neal
Hi all Does anyone know the part number for the live axle hub seal on a 1992 gts? Is the axle from the ital saloon, estate, van? One more, before I destroy my pullers, Does the hub pull off or unscrew somehow? Pic below. Cheers, Neal
