Hi, Due to an engine change, my Caterham engine is up for sale. It has covered 16500 miles (mostly road with two track days), and has always been meticulously maintained with regular oil changes using Comma 5w50 motorsport oil. The head of the engine has recently been refurbished and a multi-layer gasket added 1,500 miles ago by K-Series specialist. As well as this, the cam-belt and water pump was replaced. The sump baffle has also been removed by Sevens and Classics. This sale also includes: - Full engine loom including ECU and immobiliser. - 4 into 1 exhaust manifold. - Standard silencer including Cat and aluminium cover. Hi, I wonder if anyone knows what to disconnect to stop a K-Series VVC EU2 firing so you can build oil pressure before it runs? I know with the Ford engines it is a simple clip you disconnect just on the back of the engine head. Thanks in advance! Will

Hi All, Currently got Prisoner Wheels with 205/45/R16 tyres. I did try some 10 spoke anthracite wheels, but the ground clearance was simply too low. Unfortunatley I don't have adjustable dampers, which is the root cause of a lot of this! If you are saying 6" width is adequate, i may go with this on the front, and 7" on the rear? What size tyres would you suggest for this setup? I'm also wondering what brand would be most appropriate? I don't want to have too much grip, so wouldn't mind a harder wearing tyre. Regards, Wil

I believe the standard width is to go with 6"? Has anyone used these wheels before? Are they any good? I'll be getting some 185 70r13 tyres (yet to choose) to go with the rims. Thanks

Hi, 4 Wheels and Tyres in fantastic condition, one tiny chip on one of the wheels, barely noticeable. 1 centre cap missing from the set. Tyres have done circa 1300 miles from new, date coded 2012. I was really impressed with the grip they offered compared to my ZZ1's. Bought from a fellow club member recently, used a handful of times with 2 short track sessions, but diameter too small for my suspension setup thus reason for sale. Pictures can be sent upon request. Hi John, If i find some suitable 55 profile tyres to replace, i will be selling the cr500's, yes. They are nearly new as well - you can still see the centre mould line. Hi Dave, I'd quite like the larger tyre for the difference in gearing also. Regards, Will

These are the wheels i'm talking about... apologies for the confusion before. As you can see there is a fair gap between the wheel and the arch so i'd like to get some bigger tyres. What would you recommend? Thanks, Will

Hi guys, I've got some 15" 9 spoke alloys with 195x45 R15 size CR500 tyres on. My sump is only about 50mm clear from the ground, so i'd like some larger tyres to run. Can anyone recommend what size to get that will help me raise the sump another 20-25mm or so? Many thanks, Will
