  1. Thanks everyone. I've just bought one from ebay for £5 inc delivery. I followed Andrews link above but they wanted £9 for postage I'll report back when it arrives.
  2. Thanks to JK, I've just found this on a previous post. "It is also the same dipstick Caterham fit to the Sigma, Ford part number 1207160" Off to ebay......
  3. I'd like to replace the yellow (all) plastic dipstick on my 1,8k. I remember reading someone had found a suitable replacement from a Ford Fiesta. Can anyone please tell me exactly which model this came from. There seem to be numerous part numbers for Fiesta dipsticks! Also I vaguely remember it needed a mod to shorten it slightly?

Thanks for confirming Simon. Weather is looking great.
  5. The advice given to me by DVA was as follows: Mineral oil (I'm guessing your running in oil is similar) for 500 miles, then an oil and filter change to semi synthetic for 2000 miles. Then oil and filter change to fully synthetic.
  6. DVA's steel rods are manufactured in China to Dave's own specification. I know he has spent a considerable amount of time working with his supplier to perfect the design and enaure consistent quality. The fact he puts his name to every set he sells/fits is good enough for me!
  7. Received mine this morning. snug sums them up nicely
  8. Yes please Ian. if you can PM me your details, I’ll ask a friend who lives locally to arrange collection/payment. cheers, Steve
  9. I found the payment email in my spam folder this morning. Called Sam and all sorted!
  10. Bringing this back up to the top, p.mole1, would you have a part number/supplier info for the sender you eventually used? I'm in the same boat as you, my 1995 car has unmatched senders so I can never get anything on the gauge when switched to read oil temp. I’ve replaced the oil sender but still no joy.
  11. Hi Steve, Payment and PM sent. Happy to wait until your back.
  12. I'd like the carbon trims if still available. Please let me know and I'll paypal you the cash.
  13. Minus the airbox and trumpets
  14. Bernhard Scouse airboxes are pretty common with Jenvey DTH throttle bodies. Undo the 3 bolts on the top and the airbox will (with a bit of a wiggle) lift off the backplate. It located into a couple for slots on the lower edge of the backplate. You can then check the bolts holding the backplate/trumpets in place. They should have had thread luck applied when they were fitted.
