  1. You (C7 TNT) were heading towards the peaks as I (C7 GNU, yellow) was heading back to Derby. Thanks for the wave - hope you had as good a day as I did! Tim.
  2. That was me! Sadly the blat didn't go too much further as it's gone into the garage for a bit of work it needs before the blatting season starts in earnest :)
  3. On Acorn Way, heading towards Oakwood around 4pm today. I waved at you from a black golf.
  4. It was definitely a great day out last year! Pleased to see the dedicated Justgiving page - will be donating even though I'm unsure if I can make it in 2022. Thanks again to all the organisers and I hope that the 2022 event breaks all records! Tim Holyoake (with an "e" ... yes, I know it was wrong in LowFlying too, but my name with just a missing "e" is far better than some of the things I've been called )
  5. Just arriving as I was leaving around lunchtime. Hope you had a good afternoon there - it was glorious first thing this morning once the showers had cleared. Tim.
  6. Not sure if it was you I saw again in Bakewell this morning! I was heading out of the town and a green 7 was heading in - near the bridge over the Wye. Tim.
  7. I missed most of the wet weather somehow - thought I was going to get drenched at one point but managed to avoid the worst of it. Cleanish car when I got home too - I can't have been driving hard enough!
  8. That was me - heading back to Derby after an early morning blat and a bacon roll at Hassop Station! Tim.
  9. Saw you parking up around 1240 just as I was leaving. Heading southbound on the M5 was definitely the right direction once past Bristol yesterday!
  10. If you mean afternoon rather than morning then it was me. I was on a quick run out to Carsington to enjoy a bit of a mooch around. So pleasant I had to turn the heater off :) Tim.
  11. I think I may have spotted the same one today, similar kind of time! I was on the B5056 heading for Bakewell; there was a metallic red 7 heading up the track towards Cratcliffe.
  12. You're welcome! There were a lot of cyclists around today enjoying the good weather so I was trying to be extra careful - unlike the fool in a white Renault van who overtook me at 40mph+ through the 30mph zone in Idridgehay on my way back home. Tim (C7 GNU)
  13. Not the most challenging of drives, but definitely worth a visit. And with the bonus of the roads around the reservoir being in excellent pot hole free condition. Story here.
  14. Green 'P' or 'T' registration heading south through Wirksworth this afternoon while I was headed north. Thanks for the wave! Tim.
  15. That would have been me. I was heading to or heading back from a run to Bakewell via Carsington Water. Thanks for the spot! Tim.
  16. I've just fitted the LED rear light clusters from Just Add Lightness. Very straightforward and a good improvement. Details and pictures here. The moral of this story - order the RDX relay at the same time as the lights!
  17. R300 *** on the A19 northbound near Newcastle racecourse, around 3pm this afternoon. From my perch in the passenger seat of a Qashqai you looked well wrapped up against the elements!
  18. The B5023 from Cowers Lane to Middleton (going through Wirksworth) yesterday afternoon. Lucky again that no-one was in front of me the whole way!
  19. A video and photographs of me driving the route from Ladybower Reservoir to Glossop. 18 minutes - no vehicles in front or behind me! Plus a map of the complete 120 mile route that I took through the Derbyshire Peak District that day.
  20. I only managed to attend the event on Friday evening and Saturday morning, but had a great time. My thanks to the organisers for the hard work they had obviously put in to ensure it was a success. A blog post, some photographs and a feeble explanation as to why I keep calling the event 760, rather than 60, years of the Seven.
  21. About 4.15pm this afternoon, heading into Derby as I was heading out. Thanks for the wave! Tim.
  22. A short video of the best bit of this afternoon''s blat. The B5023 between Duffield and Cowers Lane.
  23. Spotted around 10am this morning, parked in the lay-by next to the railway line between Starcross and Dawlish Warren. A nice morning for a drive, but unfortunately I was in my black alfa rather than the 7.
  24. A figure of eight loop from Derby, driving past Kedleston Hall and onto Carsington Reservoir, returning via Wirksworth. Route map and photographs.
