I have the same set up (widetrack, club buy mount). Never had a hint of hitting the stay. I have bottomed the rear suspension a few time and bent one seat mount bolt but never hit the stay with the front suspension. I must of compressed it sometimes. I have done a number of track days so would have expected to explore the limits there too. I can send you a picture of mine if it helps. Maybe you need to stiffen the front suspension?

I am after a set of four 13x6" minilites in good condition for a DeDion S3. Would consider ones for refurb if they are sound and not too expensive. 

I plan to put new tyre on for road use so not particularly bothered if they have tyres but want them to look good.

Based around Basingstoke/ Reading area.

Thanks Sallen43. I am interested as a second set of wheels. Do you have any pics so I can see what I am considering? Are the wheels in reasonable nick and straight? I work up in Hinckley during most weeks so picking them up wouldn't be a problem if they are ok. 

I now have a petty strut and am sourcing the bolts.

I had exactly the same problem and ended up replacing the popper bases. The existing ones are just too big. I actually managed to tap one on but the other wouldn't budge. The kit from SB had replacements you can use.

Newby getting ready to do some sprinting next year so on my shopping list are;

4) Second set of 13" wheels (pref. minilite style in good condition) 

5) Set of suitable tyres, I like the Toyo R888s, think I'll need front and back same size. Probably buy new and race my existing ones

DONE -

1) Petty Strut for S3, imperial, FIA (single diagonal) with bolts but now need homologation sticker 

2) Done - Suitable aero screen interchangeable with standard screen - I have a Carbon Aero ready to roll and new side mirrors.

3) Done - pair 5.75" black head lights to replace 7". Also fitted lowered brackets.

Wheels need to be mechanically sound and reasonable nick

Budget is limited but any help is appreciated!
