  1. I've just bought a 2019 360R from Caterham, 5000 miles on the clock.
I will add that I'm in Cornwall so a trip to Crawley is impractical.

There is a misfire at 3500-4000 rpm which is a PITA as it's dual carriageway cruising speed. The car starts and runs fine and is great above and below that range. It's not cutting out, just a hesitation.

Any suggestions as to where to start looking?

  2. 3 tickets and reserved car parking for Le Mans Classic in July, unfortunately other commitments mean that I have to cancel our trip

The 3 sets of tickets include

    3 x General Entry

    3 x Paddock Access

    3 x Grandstand seats (Stand 18)

One car park pass (Parking Rouge)

These were bought at ACO member rate and so are cheaper than you will find anywhere.

Add £2.50 if you want them recorded delivery.

They are advertised elsewhere so first come first served...

  3. Just taken these off my 2005 S3. They are black and in full working order, I've just replaced them with the smaller units.

Being hyper critical there is a hairline crack in one of the lenses but it is hard to see.

Make me an offer + carriage?

  4. S3 Factory Exhaust System and manifold

K series 4-1 collector (inside the body) with cat in excellent condition and from car with only 1k miles.  Also includes heat shield.  £150 plus postage.

I bought my Approved Used car from Caterham in April and they fitted a new exhaust before delivery.

The system has done less than 1000 miles (300 of which was driving home after collecting the car!) and so is virtually new.

Coming off the car next week

    Located in Cornwall

  5. Thanks but as previous owner had left two rivet filled holes on the corners of the scuttle I've mounted the mirrors there.

It seems that I have to be a lot more brutal with the allen key (as advised by SPA and Caterham *hehe*)

I might add a drop or two of loctite for good measure.

  6. I have just fitted an aeroscreen and the SPA Formula mirrors that came with it.

I fitted them to the bodywork as I had two predrilled holes from the previous owner but are they always such a PITA to get them set?

The fitting in the base to tighten the lower ball joint looks like an allen key but nothing fits it and so we could only tighten with a flat screw driver.

Within a few miles the pesky things just vibrate loose and we have to remove and retighten!

There are no instructions with them so, before resorting to something akin to superglue, is there something I am missing?

I can't be the only one with this problem surely?

    Cheers

    Nick
