    Front Suspension

Hi all, I actually don't need these anymore. If anyone wants them let me know. Can swap or sell.
  3. hi all, I'm having some trouble with my chassis. The previous owner cut the side panel off of the chassis to check for rust (fortunately there wasn't any!). I've had new sides welded on, and am keen to get it powder coated, but am not sure where the exhaust exits the side. Does anyone know the dimension and location of the exhaust exit hole through side of the chassis plate? Any help greatly appreciated! Thank you.
  4. Wanted for a 7 S4 project please
  5. Just got back home following a tense period of exams. During the exam period I entered a state know as procrastination-max and spent literally entire days on eBay. Eventually I found a pair of front hubs with the brakes and uprights for a Triumph Vitesse/GT6, though the S4 originally had Herald/Spitfire veritcal links I opted for the GT6 ones due to better performance from the brakes. Here they are now, literally just got home so I'll be working on this for the next week or so and will update accordingly! Advice greatly appreciated! (unless you're telling me to keep the original Herald brakes - don't tell me that)
  6. Hi Piers, it was a guy called Peter Monks who is the owner at fabweld. He races bikes and, I think, builds them. Very nice guy and runs the company as a with his sons and daugher.
  7. Steel, I think 18 gauge. At least that's what I asked for.
  8. I haven't acehived anything with the project so far, but hallelujah I found a workshop manual on eBay to help the project on its way.
  9. Hi Arno, Yes please! what do you want for them and where are you located? Thank you Josh :)
  10. Parts for or complete set of front suspension for a Lotus 7 S4 rebuild
  11. New side panels braised to the chassis. Slightly thicker gauge than original to add strength. Job was done by a great guy in Deal, Kent if anyone needs a contact around here.
  12. Hi All, just started to build a Lotus 7 S4 from the chassis up. A few people hae asked for photos so here they are. So far two holes have been repaired (one appears to have been purposefully cut into the chassis, but I don't know what the purpose was), both holes visible in the photos and new side panels have been braised on. Moving onto suspension now, advice appreciated.
