Torville and Dean, eat your heart out

Passed three cars as you were descending the A894 northbound towards Kylesku Bridge last Thursday afternoon. I was struggling up the hill on a pedal bike as you took a big hairpin. Jealous? You bet I was!

Took the seven up to Crossgates and then back over Epynt range and the B4560 on Good Friday morning. Lovely day for a drive. Passed another black seven with red stripes as I came down the B4560 onto Head of the Valleys road

Great weather over the weekend so took the car out for a first drive over to the AV8 Cafe at Kemble airfield on its new (second hand) 13" wheels and Yoko tyres. Immediately felt the improvement from the 15s, especially when crossing the crown of the road for overtakes. The higher profile of the tyres makes for a much more compliant ride and the car doesn't tramline as it did before.
