Hi Croc, funny you should mension the oil temps - I tracked CSR regularly for four years and my oil temps have never been a problem. I had 2.0 Duratec engine from R500 Duratec Superlight mated to CSR 260 cooling and lubrication system with Caterham 6 speed box and Stack dash. the car had a massive CSR radiator tilted forward with the plastic lip funneling the air to the top nose cone cut out, no oil cooler and modine oil/coolant heat exchanger in oil filter housing. Despite full throttle at Silverstone or Brands the oil temp has very rarely gone over 100'C. Immediately down to about 94-95'C on the cool down lap. High oil temp has never been an issue. I've used 10W-60 oil viscosity.

my fuel line is a wrapped piece of plastic.

The dry sump oil tank in the bell housing on CSR in known to cause the clutch to overheat on the track. Race CSR cars had the swirl tower and the oil tank blanked off and a separate oil tank present 620 style - instead of the passenger footwell.

I should be all right then.
Not sure about this though - seen plenty of cars on slicks on trackdays over the years.

Take the seat out, vacuum the debris, give it a wipe, re-install the seat. While the seat is out, give it a wipe as well.

I'm working on some more temperature measurement options and perhaps more extraction of the hot air from the nosecone when stationary.

No final drive. It is 3.62 and I'm keeping it. it is just an LSD body itself. in the perfect order and working well.

Those discs are ready for replacement. Probably flirting with minimal thickness with the discolorations over the "air" chambers where the thickness reduced.

Hi Andy,
maybe interested due to favourable spring rates.
A couple of questions:
- the make of the spring?
- front springs look a bit short - standard Caterham is 7" - that equals to 177.8mm. 155mm gives you roughly 6.1"
- the rears: the length of the rear main spring?, not sure I understand 250/625 lbs/in. 175mm is (give or take) 7 inch, 100mm equals roughly to 3.9 inch. The standard Caterham rear spring is 9 inch long.

Just give it full throttle and steer into the oversteer. It's a tool of joy.
