    Spanish Blatters

Hi there. Just moving to Spanish Costa Blanca area with the 7. Anybody out there for Blatting around? All the best, and stay safe. Howard
  3. Jon. Sadly, the Spanish are insisting on the inertia type belts to have it registered there!!! They won't even accept my 4point harness. Thanks for replying, but will have to wait for an inertia set. stay safe Howard.
  4. After a pair of 3 point seatbelts for the 7. They need to have the 'E' labels attached. many thanks Howard
  5. Blue and Silver, looked like a Roadsport, possibly an SV. About 1045 this morning. Waved, but was in my tin top on my way back from the Rosso Tip! If you are local, get me a message, and maybe a Blat in the near future. C 7 HJE

And a great day it was!!
  8. Did not have any issues before. But treated the 7 to new pipes for the winter. Been thinking of the waterless upgrade for a while, and this was a good winter job. C 7 HJE
  9. PS. It is a Roadsport 125...
  10. Just converted to EVANS. Been out twice since the transfer, and no problems. Mixture of Motorway, A Road and town. Have also changed all of the rad pipes to Silicone - from Rose Motorsports, Lincoln - They give a lifetime guarantee with Evans in the system. FIT AND FORGET!! C 7 HJE

  12. Thanks for the feedback guys. Wont be removing the engine until it gets colder(!) so plenty of time to get a plan sorted. I have a very slow weep of oil from under the gearbox. It seems to be coming from the Gearbox/Bell housing join. But can't pin it down with the engine in the car!!! all the best C7HJE
  13. Thanks ChrisC. The instructions say (from memory) that you need to ensure that the fuel pipe is routed correctly, prior to connecting. 'Because it needs a special tool' to disconnect it! C7HJE
  14. Manual says that a special tool is required to disconnect the fuel line from the engine! If this is true, where do I get one, or how do I disconnect it? C7HJE

    DAB Radio Aerial

/sites/default/files/images/users/11780/xlarge_image.jpg My solution..... Magnetic, so removable when not needed. Signal strength is also very good. Howard.

    DAB Radio Aerial

Thanks Pugwash. Had not thought about a magnetic mounted. Will have a snoop around the Internet. Son was asking if he could put earplugs into his ear defenders and listen to the radio! Regards Howard
  20. Hi there. Anybody tried fixing/fitting a DAB radio aerial on the windscreen of the Seven? Heard that the heater element in the windscreen would stop good reception? If so any other ideas as to location/type of aerial, etc etc. All the best Howard C7HJE
  21. Just what the Dr ordered, as they say! Thanks for that, will be off to Halfords on the morrow..... howard.
  22. Ford 1600 Sigma (125bhp) 2014. Anybody know what Oil Filter I need to buy for my next service? Ta for now. Howard.
  23. Enjoying the discussion! When I tested it in the garage with the roof on. The reflection from the Middle light, off the inside of the rear window were really distracting. So.......isolation switch to be able to turn it off at night with the hood up - the standard lights are OK at night - Or for the MOT if the tester is not happy with the absences of an 'E' marking. Regards C7HJE
  24. SM25T. Why the dislike of the brake light switch? Mine only isolates the extra one in the middle, as it is totally independant to the 2 main stop lights! Don't get me wrong, I love the Blogs/Bkatchat feedback. Just interested in your comment! C7HJE
