dry sump - special sump plug?

I've managed to break the oil temperature sender inside the brass plug.

on removing the plug it has fixed to it some sort of filter that goes across the 'trough' at the bottom of the sump pan *confused*

Where can I get a replacement from 🤔

Cheers

Rog,

are you talking x-flow here ? (Asking this for clarification really)

Can't help, though would think that Burtons or Vulcan would be a good place to start.

Am interested in the answer as I have a similar (or even the same) thing on my x-flow sump.

Dave

EDITED TO SAY : I've now re-read your message and changed interpretation of what you're looking for. i.e. the temp sensor.

Sorry not a clue - never seen one like this.

Never put off till tomorrow what can be enjoyed today 😬

Dave you were right the first time. I'm not bothered about the sensor as I haven't got an oil temperature guage anyway....it came with the engine.

It is an 1800 Roger King all steel xflow

I'll give Burton/Vulcan a ring

Cheers

Rog *thumbup*
