shn7
Anyone know when EUIV emmisions regs become mandatory in the UK? Will this affect sales of roadgoing CSR260's or can they be made EUIV compliant? Just wondering as I understand the 260's doesn't meet the new regs (yet?). Steve.
BarryT
Hi Steve, EU IV regs came into force in January. In the UK, I guess CSR260's will still be registered by the SVA route which only tests to MOT levels. Other countries are not so flexible, hence the need for a Euro IV CSR200 to expand their markets. Ash.Bailey
When will EU 5 come into affect ? I see Caterham are having to make lots of mods to the CSR 200 to get it through the EU4 spec , will EU5 kill it off ??
BarryT
Euro 5 has not been finalised, but will probably come in in 2010. For petrol engined cars, it should not be significantly harder than Euro 4. Barry
