Paulo Posted April 27, 2005 Share Posted April 27, 2005 This is now the second time the thick brown cable that runs between the alternator and starter motor has broken at the swaged joint. To prevent this happening are there any precautions to take? Should the cable be tied to the chassis rail? What extra length to allow for vibration etc.? Are there differing qualities of cable and connections? I suppose some sort of heat shield might help. Any suggestions will be gratefully received; my wife is fed up of pushing REAL POWER FROM HELLIER PERFORMANCE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
