Marius
Does anyone know something about the ITG foam filter used at the JPE engine ? It fits very neat into the slot of the cut-out of the engine cover. Is it a special Caterham-part made to measurement for them ? I want to fit this filter onto my carbed XE 16V. Any suggestions ? Andrew Russell
ITG(Induction Technology Group) are based in Coventry. Tel:01203 305386 Fax: 01203307999. Their filters are available for a wide range of carbs/injection set ups and are constructed from a multi layer foam to block out different grades of particles. Very well made and a helpful technical department. Cost depends on size of filter but I recall that they are about £70.00.
Alex Wong1697456877
It needs a bigger hole in the bonnet to fit. Roger Swift did have one sitting in his garage without a backplate which I nearly bought off him. He might still be interested in selling it but I'm not sure. The JPE bonnet won't work either because the JPE used a different inlet manifold (I think). Try him on chairman@lotus7club.co.uk if you're interested.
