JAG
Hi - does anyone know what the piston diameter is inside this master cylinder?? Also, does it matter which brakes go to which port on the master cylinder?? Thanks for your help. Justin A closed mouth gathers no foot.
Peter Carmichael
13/16" rings a bell. Both bores are the same diameter. The failsafe behavour of the master cylinder is such that there is no inherent benefit from running the outputs in any particular order.
shn7
Second Peter's view on the size. Indicated by an orange tie wrap round the cylinders body. List of sizes/colours on the AP Racing website. Steve.
Irrelevant
Master cylinder is marked with a P and an S - primary (front) and secondary (rear).... After a hi-vis (pocketted side) driver's door if anyone's got one?
Peter Carmichael
The design of the master cylinder is appropriate for diagonal split of the braking circuits - there is no significant difference between P and S circuits, so you can in theory connect them any way round. Both have a mechanical failsafe, should the other circuit fail.
